Joanna Newsom is so lovely! Her lyrics are so touching and you can notice she's highly talented and intelligent! Plus she has a great smile:) Even in this weird interview (Nardwuar isn't the greatest interviewer) she stays positive
I love this girl's music so much that I dreamt of her. She was younger, about 14, 15, and she was performing on the street since she only had 4 strings. I asked her how much new string cost and she told me it was 100 dollars. She played sprout and the bean, but a very simpler version, (because of the strings) and her voice took me away, just like in real life. I gave her 200$ and she got her strings and performed in front of a larger crowd, then my mom woke me up and I wanted to punch her face.
