For you guys and your complaining about cutting I'd like to say first of all, cutting is an addiction, and it is a proven fact. The same as alcohol addictions, or addictions to drugs. You crave it, and in that moment it DOES make you feel better. I'm a cutter, and have been self-harm free for 172 days. To which I don't condone it because it is addicting. It's not bad, it's a way of expressing your feelings you can't say. And most of all NOT for attention. I hid it for 7 months.

Yeah, and calling people that already have too many issues to deal with in a socially accepted way is definetly helping. Most people turn to unhealthy solutions when they don't have any other support system to fall on. People that actually try to care can be part of a suport. This is an awesome song, okay? Please don't ruin it by talking about pencil sharpeners and/or razors. Nothing good can come out of cutting, just pure regret at the end.

I finally figured that out.
All it does is leaves scars.
I have a big scar from a razor.
I cut my self.
And everytime I look at it.
I feel disgusted at myself.
For doing that,
It dosn't solve your problems.
It just reminds you about them.

Mkay this is sick all these people cutting themselves.....I've had bad shit happen and I've honestly felt like not living but you gotta live for the good stuff and don't torture yourself. And if you're life really does suck so bad that there is no good stuff, then you shouldn't lie to your parents and say the cat did it lol. You should tell them, because you can make your life better. Cutting yourself is just wasting time that you could be using improving your life.

no offense but i agree with your mom. i know its completely your choice to cut yourself, and i know I'll get a billion comments saying "i don't know how it feels" and shit like that. well i have been sad before, but i don't cut myself. self-mutilating is almost as suicide. its purposely hurting yourself. there's other ways to make yourself feel happier than slashing a big cut on your wrist. in my opinion, your mom was right for freaking out, but that's just me. do what you want, but this is bad

@Emokid3oh3 you shouldn't have to cause physical pain to yourself to fix your issues. Your mom can help you if you just let her know that you are hurting and have no other outlet for your pain. try punchin bags to get your pain and anger out TRUST ME it helps so much more than cutting yourself ive been there done that. ha i just now realized ima year late on this comment either way hope it helps

P.S-I understand more than you thing a little girl would,I was beatin and raped by my real dad when I was a like 5-7.And when my mom found out I cut myself I thought I was totally screwed,but it cleared up inafew months.
