@nossazen nah what your hearing are overtones. Its the strings vibrating on the side you dont want to hear them on (the part of the strings that are over the neck, not the body). Since he most likely didnt use a really good recording system he probably wasnt able to remove them.

i dont think the tuning is off, i think its just not played very cleanly here. could also be because the guitar hes using used to be a 6/12 double neck and because its been changed it might have screwed the neck a bit.
