you can solve the problem by placing a small spring on top of the butane chamber nozzle ( i.e the spring will fit on it ) use trail and error to find the best type of spring to set the best timing ( i.e. use strong spring or soft spring ..etc)

If you had a constant source of electricity it would eliminate the need for timing. Ebay has $15 tazers that have a contant flow of electricity XD. I have one. I have never tried to ignite a gas with it but it's work a shot seeing as you have taken it this far. Just hook the tazer up to where the grill ignition is and you have yourself a timing free famethrower... if the tazer will light the gas.

instead of a sparker you could just drill a hole in the front wide enough to squeeze something flammable like a piece of wood or cloth and just light in on fire then squeeze the butane out, so basically you could just replace the spark with a torch

if you had a sliding trigger connected to a 3" ish rod/bar, with 2 grooves or "bumps". than you could hook up each groove or bump depending on the fuel nozzel and the sparker, with the groove for the nozzel being shorter than the one for the sparker, so as you pulled it, it would hit the butane/fuel first and then as you pull farther it would hit the sparker. It kinda hard to explain through text but maybe you will get it or someone can translate better haha.

The design of this flamethrower is perfect but the fact that it failed is not a good thing. My advice would be not to put the butane or that other spray too close to the spark or flame. Instead try and built a mount for and make it at least 4 to 5 inches away from the spark.

I prob wouldn't sell those unless you want legal charges to come against you. Some kid is going to buy one. Use it and kill themselves of someone. Not to mention these things are insanely dangerous when using a spray can and fire. Seeing as the can could blow up while using it.

I think i may know hownto make it work, or atleast not a fail. Use an electronic ignition system like you are now, but put it on the grip like the mkIII. Also use a different nozzle than the one you are using now because from my perspective it is to wide and the gas isnt being propelled out with enough force to make more of a "stream" than "flames are everywhere". On top of that use a trigger to push the butane canister into the nozzle to release the gasses, much like howmyou use a crobar. Unde
