@TheSquawlady Turns out he was a she! She pulled through the infection she had and put on lots of weight. She survived hibernation (mid December to mid April) and was on fine form all spring.
We had six hogs in the garden by June but sadly almost all of them were killed on a nearby road in July/August. Heartbreaking :(
We've not seen a hog since September despite them having two nests in the garden :/
