Who, other than You, says it had to be a Joe Miller Supporter. What happened to Scott McAdams Supporters? Does it have to be any Supporters? Couldn't it be some Taggers out for fun. If you think that is bad, have you heard the story of a Tea Partier who ran a car off the road which had an Obama bumper sticker.
Or Tea Partiers who mocked a guy who had some kind of neurological disorder and spoke in favor of a Public Option.
While there are plenty of people in the Tea Party who have legitimate grievances with the government, a large number of them are insane (and potentially dangerous to boot).
Is defacing political signs not part of the culture in Alaska - here in Germany we regularly get defaced signs for the political parties - more changing words so that the text means something different rather than a bad scrawl but...
