Second, yes I am a paramedic and have proudly been one for over five years, serving in EMS for over eight. And I am not ashamed of myself for sticking up for MY BROTHER! And before you post these kind of videos you should do some fact checking. Anytime an officer fires his tazer it is recording with a date and time stamp as well as a duration of charge on a chip int he gun. Why don't you look at the records of those officer's tazer guns? He wasn't even tazered. Jon Commella is a phenomenal cop and there should be more cops like him. And Mr. Bajra... you are damn lucky that you actions didn't affect him coming home to his family at the end of the day.

Because if I were an officer and someone I was questioning went for my gun. He would not be alive to tell his twisted version of the story. That scum bag is lucky all he walked away with is a black eye and he is damn lucky that Officer Commella is such a good cop because had it been someone other than that officer I guarantee he wouldn't have walked away. So Arben Bajra you should be thanking Officer Commella for the fact that you still have your life.

Now as to the incident that occurred. Don't you find it interesting that everyone that gets injured in an officer involved incident always claims they "were just walking along with halos around their heads and their angels wings sprouting from their backs when that mean officer beat them for now reason"? I smell BS. In light of the situation and in light of the fact there were so many officer killed around that time frame I support Officer Commella 100%.

I refrained from posting a comment out of respect for Officer Commella's wishes. But now they all these charges are cleared up I am commenting. First off, before you jump on the "dirty cop" and "this poor guy was innocently beaten" bandwagon do some research. Jon Commella rightfully earned his officer of the month awards because he is a great cop just like his mother and his father were. He does his job with integrity and treats people with respect.

How can he be employee of the month twice for doing something like that to anyone. I think they do this so that it doesn't look like the officer did anything wrong and to make him seem like he's a good cop. It seems as though there are too many cops who abuse their power and use excessive force when it is not necessary .

I think the public needs to remember every time something like this comes out, is just how many officers really get away with there misconduct. There should be a ZERO Tolerance for any/all Police Abuse as there should be for a Pilot flying a passenger plane while Drunk. We The People need to crack down on bad cops If they are not good people as they do work for "We The People".

Officers do whatever they need to do to come home safely and in the course of such They sometimes do make mistakes.

I am an expert on police abuse. Fact one: being a police officer is not even in the top ten of most dangerous jobs. Fact two: police abuse in this Country is out of control. Fact three: The Hollywood Police Department is one of the most abusive Departments in the Country. Fact Four: We know all about your 'blue line." Fact five: You will not get away with this. I watched this You-Tube and once again you are getting only one side of the equation. You have know idea what a good officer this young man is. You bring up what has happened in the department over twenty years ago. There is a NEW CHIEF OF POLICE CHAD WAGNER who has taken the department in a whole different direction. He has brought back the moral of the officers and is really attempting to make it a great department to work for.

Back in the day that he is wanting to link everything that has happened together is very wrong. Because even then you had more honest, hard working, and ethical Hollywood Officers. This man is not telling how he did not cooperate with the officers and how he acted towards the officers on scene.If the man would have followed the officers request then he would have been treated much differently. If you also check the incident report you will see he was not tazed like he claims.

I think the public needs to remember every time something like this comes out just how many officers have lost there lives just in the three months of this year. It is up to eighteen officers. In Miami remember the Officer who is a father to three boys who will never go home again, the female officer was a mother as well and she won't go home either. Officers have the right and think of there safety first and the people around them.
