Owen i don't know who taught you banjo but .....he knew his shit and you waz definitely listenin !!!!!!!!!!! Pick It Son wish i coulda been there but my bands in the SPBGMA competition this year so look us up The Hagar's Mountain Boys
haha i find it funny ppl are makin a fuss over it haha i think it sounds fine and like a bunch of funn! haha sure would like to jam with these guys sometime!!
And on a further note, i do believe that Kyle had been up for like 30 some hours strait at this point of Spbgma, partly as a jamaholic and partly cause of a key misplacement. And i bet that he is doing more with his talent and potential at this junction of his life than any of y'all that got one thing negative to say about it.
I dont know what the fuss is but their having fun and aint that what its all about.Anyway sounds good to me. Play on!! At one point we all sounded out, thats why we practice.
I have to agree with banjomartin88, no offense, you guys do a good job, but maybe back this one down a little. I dont know how long you ve been playing, but ive been playing bluegrass for going on 11 years now, professionally, and offer the same constructive critisism....take it or leave it.
Buddy, there's a difference between constructive criticism and criticism, and what you're doing, is criticism. I don't see you in this video so..............
there again, i don't see what is constructive about that. i don't see why you had to go out of your way in the first place to take a shot at this video. if you're not in it, then you obviously have no right to lip off. while this jam was taking place, you were probably in the lobby with three other banjo players, a guitar picker, and two basses thumpin some foggy mountain breakdown. so next time, stick to the lobby and you won't have to worry about our private sessions.
The singer looks like he has a butt plug up his ass he's in so much pain

Put it in a lower key. They lead singer looks like he is really hurting to sing it and it sounds it to.

I don't see anything wrong with the vocals. This is what real bluegrass sounds like, take it or leave it

Well to each there own I guess.

Well it seems kinda strange to me to comment on someones video and tell them how to play their music....
GravyBoatJohnson 4 years ago
How so? Can you not take constructive criticism?
banjomartin88 4 years ago
if you were being constuctive, it would be different, but to say that the lead singer sounds like he's in pain is a bit harsh.

Im not going to argue with you anymore. If you like off key singing then have at it.
