Well put,I cannot understand why there are direct comparisons between the two shows.I must add I enjoy Little Britain but at best its cathphrase based tom foolery.The Log are for me on par with some of the greatest intricate comedy writers and performers to grace our screens.

Lucas and Walliams do both openly cite LOG as a big influence on their own material. Frankly, loving LB as I do, I was shocked at how many of the sketches are rip-offs of the superior LOG. Margerie Daws - Pauline, for example...

if you actually knew what you were talking about you would know that margarie daws was created before the LOG she was george dawes mother on the vic reeves show shooting stars which was created before LOG. And if you knew anything about LOG you would know how influenced they were by monty pythons. example: the two old ladies in the charity shop are based on monty pythons pepperpot female characters.
