  • if only i coul turn back time, i would go back tomorrow

  • for no more music equipment then there useing they sure produce a great sound .lol

  • Listen to Jay and the American's version of this. No disrespect David.

  • Jodie Foster played Danny's girlfriend.

  • Check out the original by "The Ronettes"

  • @myboylollipop09 this version is beautiful. Jay Black sang it too. also nice.****

  • I like walking in the rain!! This was so sweet.

  • @bap2111 He! He!

  • The Walker Brothers' version is much better.

  • It is Jodie Foster...

  • In Britain we say 'arseholes' lol!

  • @Glamagal20091 Thank you. Couldn't have said it better myself

  • The Partridge Family didn't "make" any albums either. Session musicians "made" all of their albums. LOL

  • @scdevon you didn't answer the question. What albums have YOU made? LOL

  • @scdevon who is the lead singer on this song?

  • @bap2111 David Cassidy. ****

  • @d4seasons I know.. I love him. tell scdevon. He/she obviously doesn't know

  • @scdevon LOL

  • The 3 youngest kids on the show were too young to be convincing even in lip sync'd performances like this. The camera always pans away during more complex drum riffs. Danny doesn't even know how to play one note on a bass. At least the Cowsills (the family this show was modeled after) could ACTUALLY PLAY and sing live.

  • @scdevon So? The Partridge family was WAY better looking!

  • @scdevon who cares. what albums have you made?

  • a young jodie foster

  • Amazing they put this crap on TV instead of the Cowsills...

  • I don't know? when I think of the 70s & its folky, bubble gum, Disco Ducky sounding music? It was not that great until the 80s came around..Now that was music! My opinion? 60s & 80s were the best decades of music!

  • @Godzie1 Fair Comment , Born in the late 80's maybe?......just a guess. Mothers milk a bit sassy. No hard feelings mate, not your fault love to all thats what I say.

  • There's Something So Uplifting About This Clip... It Always Takes Me Back To When I Was A Kid Growing Up In The Seventies ... Happy Times !!

  • To those assholes that made all of those nasty comments to David, you idiots couldn't hold a candle to him. He was one of best entertainers of the 70's and I still say the singers of today couldn't hold a candle to him in the looks or singing department either. This is my favorite version of this song too. It's better than the original version. David, we still love you...

  • Having listened to versions of this track by three artists I think this is simply the best one.

  • There was hardly any feature of Susan Dey here. Strange.

  • Great song - and yes David was gorgeous in this (and he still is)

    Laura Lambert

  • This is great . Can you imagine how long that mic cord was.LOL Great quality! Thanks

  • GREAT SINGING VOICE.

  • Isn't that a young Raoul Moat on the gretsch looking bass?

  • @fez41 No...That's Danny Bonaduce aka "Danny Partridge". And he's fake playing. The only ones who aren't faking it are the singers David Cassidy and (possibly) Shirley Jones ("Mom").

  • A fabulous record. This is my favourite by the 'Partridges'.

  • Thank you for this wonderful video!!

  • IS;NT THAT A RONNETS OLD SONG

  • @sierria64 .... Yes, it is.

  • WHY DONT THEY GET BACK TOGETHER ? - IT WOULD BE FUN ! !

  • Young Jodie Foster listening to "Walking in the Rain" performed by Partridge Family !!! Perfect.

  • Yes, I do believe that is THE Jodie Foster

  • Who's the guy (father) of Jodie Foster here? That guy was on EVERYTHING!!!

  • @nauort23 Bert Convy.. you're right, in the 70's you couldn't get away from this guy

  • @gritsnsand So, that's Bert Convy... I never had a name for the face (or vice versa). Thanks. He's kind of hot--more my type than David Cassidy, anyway. Never quite got the Keith Partridge thing. I guess you had to be a 10 year old girl in 1971...

  • @nauort23 Bert CVonvy passed away in 1991 from a Brain tumor.

He has 3 kids and was married only 5 months to his second wife when he died.

  • @latinoguy Seems too young/too soon. Thanks

  • I bet David Cassidy was the most "girlie" person Jodie Foster ever liked! lol! Great clip! Love David's voice..always have and always will!

  • @cooljooles ....actually, this episode was about her "romance" with Danny! In the sequence just before this song, they're in a malt shop, with Danny drowning his sorrows in root-beer floats or something, and Jodie comes in and explains that maybe in the future they can continue their 'thing,' but for now, they have to just part as friends. It was Danny she was crushin on, not Keith.

  • Little Jodie Foster and Danny Bonaduce? lol

  • Check out distance he walks to stage, Cassidys Microphone lead must have been 5 Miles long!

  • @MRROBBIEWATTS too bad no wireless gear back then.

  • Jodie Foster became a semi regular on the series whose character developed a crush on Danny

  • 'Ditto' berlits, you couldn't be more correct.

  • Comment removed

  • @glamfoxbuster why was your comment removed just wondering

  • Who is the little girl with golden hair smiling to the group? JODIE FOSTER?

  • Yes

  • @lmradioful ....not to mention her dad Bert Convy, pre-Tattletales! :-)

  • this IS CLASSIC DAVID CASSIDY!

  • HI DAVID

  • love the classic's thnx for posting this video!! =D
