when those first notes drop, i literally cannot explain what stirs inside me. every other song, sure--a memory of wounded pride or disappointment or ambition or those feelings i had. but i cannot figure out what it is that makes me seriously want to cry about the first few bars of this song. it just does.
I loved this song since I heard it for the first time but I never noticed how beautiful the melody part in the bridge (I think that's what u call it, Im not s musician haha) is.
Okay, der Springsteen Vergleich hinkt, allerdings ist diese Musik so ehrlich wie damals das Album "Born in the USA". Da sie nun auch noch aus New Jersey kommen drängt sich der Vergleich auf. Einfach Wahnsinn. Habe zu diesem Lied oft fast geweint :(. So ehrlich.
