when i think of Cruel Intentions i don't think of anything else but this song. It was the defining moment of the whole movie. And i like it because it's just that one thing that makes you stop running and you just face yourself, and everything you've done and you move forward. It's not a song you dance to. It's a song that takes you somewhere within yourself in the most creative way. Love it.

I'm gonna state what I think this song is about.

I think it's about falling in love.

First his life is plain, dull. "Coffee Black and Egg White." Then he meets a girl who catches his attention. He wants to get close. "Pull me out from inside." then he's beginning to feel comfortable with love. "I am ready." He puts up walls to block people out "No one gets to come in." The girl is breaking down his walls. "I am folded. and unfolded. and unfolding." Then he is in love. He is fine. :)

I think this song is about an empty soul who see's no color but black and white. He has no emotion and isn't able to explain his feelings: 'taffy stuck, tounge tied'. A very closed, unaccepting person who doesn't open up to anyone. He is emotionally brain dead and trying to escape the complete numbness of his life. He's dead inside and covers it up with the ol' "I am Fine" I found this on yahoo, hope it helps :)
