I hear this and sob because it takes me back to my childhood in the early 60's and memories of my late Dad and the love me and all my brothers had for him and our home in East Los Angeles. What a magic time that was when we were all together and my Grandparents were alive and the security of the family..You don't know what you miss until it's all gone.

@fillmorecountymn So very sorry about the loss of your dear mom but she lives on in your heart and soul with treasured memories like this VERY lovely song.  I also lost my dear mom just four years ago and I know the pain of losing a loving mother. I grew up at the same time as your mom (I was born in 1953) and will always cherish songs like this from that era. Sure always makes me feel young again when I hear sweet songs like this. And for me, this song is "A Song of a Lifetime".
