  • ANYONE WANT A FREE 4870X2 WATERBLOCK. GO TO MY PAGE AND SUBSCRIBE

  • you might get this question a lot but...where are you from trubritar?

  • definitelly will help with airflow through that case for sure... ¬_¬ It is fucking water cooled... why would u need airflow in the case?

  • cause not everything is watercooled. only parts like the GPU,CPU and chipsets,

  • More cooling idiot!!!

  • This Guy Is Really Weird.

  • i like it

  • a red Bsod? strangge

  • lol RSOD wtf?

  • @Mr937595

its only on some vers of vista

  • Looks nice, but still like My XSPC full Coverage block...

  • I'm new to computers and I am in need of a water cooling system for my video card and I don't know what I need exactly. What all parts are needed along with this water block?

  • you need a pump, a radiator, tubing, fittings for the waterblocks and a reservoir and a fan to mount onto the radiator or more then one fan if you get a larger one which you should because the 4870 could heat a small house.

  • Pretty good block! after researching all these cards I ended up buying the full cover block made by EK.

  • Comment removed

  • Its just "crazy" ^^

  • Hi trubritar, in this setup was the CPU air cooled or water cooled? I am considering liquid cooling just for my 4870X2 and didn't know what the issues could be with adding liquid cooling for GPU with my Cooler Master V8.

  • for 2 4870 +a wuad core it is water cooled

  • what about how to install ??

    i still w8 hehe

  • This video is... absolutely crazy.

  • Koolance makes awesome gpu waterblocks

  • Koolance is no junk man...Hope you aint been liviving on the moon recently....what do you thibnk is better than?

  • Bling factor! lol

    BTW great video Trub! 5/5

  • Yep idd,

    Nice card btw =)

  • Why do you like Koolance so much Trubritar?

  • Hey's payed by them to talk good. Sponsored

  • oh so thats how he makes money

  • who cares? his videos are cool and his computers are wicked

  • subscribed. great review.

  • did u overclocked the ATI? I heard that this would not be so efficient...

  • yes it isn't very efficient. If you try to overclock the memory over 100mhz you will see artifacts. But you can easily OC the core clock 150mhz more.

  • yup arvutihull said it right.

oc of memory is no go for me :( 100mhz and it starts to artifact and maybe over time it crashes...i am on air. lol

  • I've seen a 4870 with the memory running at 5ghz but it made no difference

  • Hey remember ati is GDDR5?????

It's allready facking fast, why need more.

BUt lol i got my clocks @ 4000mhz with dual 4870s

  • when is it available for sell?

  • not trying to be too negative you really need to add more detail to a review of a waterblock imo, that had no more info than the koolance add release (and i know they get alot of bad press in the WC community) when doing a waterblock review try to make it look less like an add - we al know WC makes things cooler - but how does it compare to the aquagratix single slot block or DDs or EKs for flow or even temps (with the same rad etc)

other than that a well made vid

  • you rock dude

  • hey, if you cut off the grid thing on 4870x2, would it take up only one PCIe slot?

  • Yeah

  • if i wanted to put the case back on the graphics card would i be able to have both the water block and the case on it? with of course a little bit of modding to the top

  • Great video I was always curious on how that waterblock performed..I'm thinking of getting it now..

  • Ahhh...If this is an offer...Sorry, I'm happily Married!

  • to somone of the same gender? lolz... j/k. Sorry for being silly. Keep these superb reviews coming.

  • How can you say such a thing?

  • My HD4870 overclocked to the max 790mhz -1100mhz mem, running folding@home in display window 97% GUP activity max temp 55 degreese, stock air cooler with fan hacked to 80% speed.

Its a very effective cooler, it only sounds like a garden leaf blower, so i can crank my speakers up to cover the noise. Still you dont need water cooling to achieve low temps and high clocks.

  • Are you going to do any Crysis Warhead Benchmarks?

  • Where are you from you have a slight Welsh/ American accent?

  • If I remember correctly he was from Britain but have lived in US for a time.

  • Yes, this is great no more loud noise in my case it sounds like a jet taking offfff..

  • hey trubritar your reviews are awesome but

why you have to overclock to the max and make crash win vista!!!

i have my 8800gt everything on stock with the fan 100% and i have the GPU IDLE 37ºC / GPU FULL 52ºC... only with FAN!!!

put an email to contact you please!!

    greatings!

  • that is pritty awesome cimpared to the air cooling

  • good solution my sapphire hd 4870x2 aircoold runs original setings on 80 degress celsious

  • Cool, can you stop deleting comments that don't praise koolance?

Get the EK instead, higher quality, and better performance.

  • thanks for the comment, only comments removed are those that are rude, offensive or inappropriate...

    Thanks again.

  • Oh lol, sorry about that then.

  • RSOD!!! now all that its missing is color green

  • lol

  • I just subscribed today watched all your vids. building my first pc this week, Fatalty 650i motherboard, pentium d 915 2.8ghz, 680 sli ready power supply, and 2 evga 8800 gs graphics cards, this has run me bout 351 dollars...I wanna over clock alittle till i can afford liquid cooling....wanna know best config as far as waterblocks for my vid cards so i can oc them...plz help

  • Feel free to drop by the new forum, all the 101 help you will ever need is there...Thanks for subscribing.

    Trubritar

  • LOL, dude destroy pentium D it will bottleneck your video card and u will have TWO? dude for that motherboard get a Q6600 sience its 1066fsb same as your motherboard.

That will make it run good.

  • You're going to regret that CPU. Drop the 8800GS and get a nice Q6600 or equivalent, trust us d;.

  • switch out that pentium d for a pentium dual e5200 or e2200 you can over clock these quite well and they consume less power, create less heat, and perform better

  • if your really cheap you can get an e1200 and oc it to 3ghz (50 dollars)

  • thats even less cache and requires a higher FSB which means more heat

  • same FSB, and FSB doesnt mean more heat lol

  • :)

    :)

  • voltage = more heat.

  • nice im going to buy this waterblock from koolance

  • Finally they released the waterblock for the room heater. I'm sure with a voltmod, you could get the clocks higher by using something like ASUS Precision Tool. I know that the limit for most GPU overclocks using ASUS Precision is about 1050. I can only push my 9600GT to 775. Voltage, not temperature is the limit for mine.

  • nice vid as always, u really love ur koolance

    products

  • i never seen red screen of death only blue

  • I have my 4870x2 clocked at 846/1120 with the fan set at 35% and the card loads at mid 60s.

You don't need to spend money on those expensive ccoling solution just raise the fan speed.

  • What Software are you using to OC the card?

    Thanks

  • Im using the ATI Tray Tools.you can control the card's clocks, voltages, and fan speed.

  • trubrutar, make a comparison vid between the 4870 and the 280gtx.I think you'll be surprised of how the 4870 does surpass the 280gtx even in crysis.

my powercolor 4870 gets on stock clocks at the same res. and setts you tested the cards on about 28fps.

    Thnx for the vid.

  • Great Video!!

  • Nice vid.

  • nice

  • good video Trubritar!:)

  • haha red screen of death xD btw nice waterblock trubritar!

  • Good review, X2

  • Great as always!

  • using everest like i suggested on the forum :)

  • Do you have any Crysis crunchers planned for the near future, trubritar?

  • lol he so works for koolance

  • lol no he dont

  • Trub is defo sponsired by koolance :P

  • why did he have a red screen of death ?!!?

  • great review its worth buying for the extreme gamers.

  • Do you buy this from out of your own pocket? Or do companies sponsor you to review their products?

  • FOOSAG: What do you think? lol of course the companies send him stuff to review. Alot of companies actually let reviewrs keep the products depending on how well known thery are

  • :D nice

  • great video, lol @ red screen of death wtf, I assume your going to watercool both X2's

  • ahh wat a sparky person

    good vid

  • good video i cant believe you got that thing up to 800mhz

  • what?i'm able to oc my 4870 to 825/1125 with just 65% fan speed and able to run stable

  • That Card looks really thin, can you tell me if those power cables pull on the end of the card and bend it downwards?

  • thanks i enjoyed the video

  • he pronounces H like haich...

  • red screen of death? lmao wtf? anyone else seen that b4?

  • nice review, I never even new a koolance water block was out for the 4870 x2. Thanks!

  • Quality vid man, thanks again for another great one Trubritar!

  • getting this for mine! thanks for the video trubitar <3 :)

  • wow, havnt seen a RSOD before lol, i hope thats a good thing if i havnt :P, anyways great review might get two of these when i buy my dual 4870x2's :)

  • your videos are like commercials nowadays... they follow the same pattern each time :/

i could barely see the text in the result diagrams even while viewing high quality

  • Koolance products are REALLY GOOD! And this review is AWESOME!

He is reading the temperatures of cards.

text is blurry but still readable.

I think Trubritar is doing a awesome job here.

And comments like yours ( yust bitchin ) are unneeded here. :-/ And my final word is Trubritar RULES!

  • WOW A NEW VIDEO?!?!?

  • another great video mate!

  • Good vid,as always :) i wish u posted a vid of how u installed the waterblock.Well i dont think its hard anyway lol.

Btw do u get all thous waterblocks for free or u buy them for money just to review them ))?

  • I think he has sponsors.

  • Probly lol,u have to be crazy to buy them only to review them on youtube lolz.

  • Yeah.

Either crazy or rich ! X)

  • how about both? =P

  • he does

  • wow nice!

  • nice video, what scores did you get whith it overclocked?

please do an overclocked GTX280 vs an overclocked 4870x2!!!!!!

  • Another great video trubritar and forget a BSOD you had a RSOD. Nice temp drop goes to show you temps play a big role in stability. 5.5/5

  • RSOD?

  • very nice review ill have to look into getting one of those for my amd ati build.

  • Typo in your title :P

  • well caught...corrected.

    Thanks

  • TRUBRITAR i would like to apologize for the last comment I posted on your video comparing the 4870x2 and Gtx 280. This was a great video and I'm glad you decided to get the Koolance block. I think I'll get one too. (once i rob a bank)

Thanks much m8 excellent video 10 stars if I could.

    GO TRUBRITAR

  • Woo hoo i got a shout xD

nice review I see you fixed the Yellow imbalance in your vids looks a lot better now.

I just sold my watercooling and bought a OCZ vendetta 2 air cooler. ill do a review once it arrives (im on laptop)

  • amd suckt they heave hiden factory damage of overheating! and the newest drivers for radeons are decreaising the performance!

  • Now youve evened it up, well according to the ati fans as im sure the lower temps wont give more fps like some people think, anyway next vid finish this once and for all. Kick some X2 ass

  • another nice vid trub ! great job mate !

    Elmo

  • nice

  • i hate the x2 bc the black back plat SUCKS for uses for the memory on the video cards

  • same

  • great vid truB!
