  • miss you

  • This song still rings in my mind since 1950/60s and I had trouble with it when I was a teen. I used to sing this song in corrupted manner. I didnt understand it but I was using a sort of my own made artificial broken Kurdish language to sing it. A parrot would have done it a lot better. Every one used to explode from laughter and surprise when they heard me singing except village chief. He threatened me with severe punishment if ever heard me singing it.

  • This is a wonderful kurdish song..pure classic.

But hey!! This is Hassan Ciziri and not Arif Ciziri!!!!!King ofkudishmusic please correct this mistake! We love both Hassan & Arif. As to the Assyrians, even today they contribute to the kurdish music! Assyrians are wonderful people..We Kurds should always show respect and understanding to everything thats Assyrian!

    Biji Kurdistan

  • ez kurbane cawetem arifi cizrawi

  • i like this song, my dad is good friend with the person who made the music notes for this songs, he is assyrian, very nice song

  • i should say was god rest his soul

  • Yes brother, correct, the one who made the music was an assyrian, munir basheer the lagendary oud player. When did he pass away?

  • Yes we know man, we know, almost all our music is from Assyrians, because we love it. Why else would we use it? And many Kurds was Assyrians before.

  • yup man,

personally, i dont think there is greater music than assyrian and kurdish, personaly.

If people just noticed the music they will lvoe it.

  • You got no prove about kurds was assyrians, i belive kurds and assyrian even caldeans was one and same people and got separated when islam and christianity came, we all where yesidis at begining, our langueages are much same specialy armenian and kurmanci.

  • Hahah, Armenian and Kurmanci are similar? Are you out of your fucking mind:P I speak Kurdisch and i'm Armenian, there is no comparison between the two languages..

  • Who the hell sai many Kurds was assyrians before? from where you got these brilliant information...

Next time think before writing anything...

and this song was/is/won't be assyrian cause the composer of this song is Hesen Ciziri...

DO NOT confuse people next time

    Biji Kurd Biji Kurdistan

  • It is my theory, and it is not anything to be ashamed of.

  • it's your theory? who are you that will give such a prescription!!! from which sources you found this theory?

Kurds are Sumerian, Median, Sassanian, but not assyrian [ in fact we wiped them out from the earth surface]

    Biji Kurd Biji Kurdistan

  • For your information, I am a Kurd myself.

Hhhh, I see that you don't know what you're talking about. Sumerians was ancestors of Assyrians and Babylonians.

Medes was the first Iranian empire and "sassanians/persians" learned everything from us.

I beleive Kurds are a mix of indigenous people and invading nations like Medes. This is not a wild theory, it's based upon everything I have read about the early history of Kurds.

Indeed Her Bijit Kord o Kordestan!

  • I have no idea why I am discussing with an ignorant person like you!

Now I know you don't know anything about history just barking like shit!!! let me tell you and learn some truths about history.

During history till Sumerian didn't joined Median, greek people in their documnts didn't called Median Empire [Corduene or Kardukhi, Kurdua etc] and assyrians and babylonians are from the same root but different from Sumerians.

    Biji Kurd Biji Kurdistan

  • and about Sassanians! they were Kurds of pars. his father and mother respectively were from Kurds of Shabankare and Bazrangi. Strabon [famous geographer] & Gezenphon [ Greek commander] they also talked about different triebes of pars as Kurti, Mard, etc... which Kurti and Mard both are Kurdish tribes in pars. Ardavan the 5th after loosing his kingdom [Ashkanian] he will write for Ardashir "Hey Pedigree Kurd which grow up in Kurd's Tent" Your ideology is wrong based of Kurd's enemies fake history

  • Serok,

What donthakiller says makes much sense, and please done flatter yourself to you think you have wiped the assyrians out of the earths surface, you had the great help from babylonians, not by yourself, this is not the point anyhow.

His theory makes much sense because we all orginate from the same place, but we split.

  • LOL please stop this bullshit you guys!

Median are Aryan and wild assyrians are sami just like their childs [ arabs & hebrew ]

this theory still doesn't born is dead... please read more and speak less cause it will take my time to answer all these nonesenses.

Kurds are Median and weke up not wild assyrians... if you don't know how assyrians were just look at the history of assyria nothing to be proud of! totally wild and wild...

    Biji Kurd Biji Kurdistan

  • Do not insult my people calling them wild, and i will not say anything about the kurds because i do not want to insult the smarter, polite kurds that will see this because someone like you is trying to make themselves look big. Just speaking truth, what did the medians do for this earth? Lol and you say Assyria is nothing, in my history class, i didnt even hear of Media.

And about the theory, we are not saying you werent medians you fool, we are talking about even before the medians.

  • In fact I didn't insult assyrian I just told you the truth...

The best thing Median did was to wipe out wild assyrian empire from the world surface.

and each nation will do whatever in favor of their nation not for the world!

and about the theory you moron should know that even before Median, Kurd & assyrian are two different ethnic and blood type...

you supid people can understand what is sami? and what is Aryan?

  • Lol the truth? We did so much to this earth, your daily life brings up assyrian constantly, two different blood types? You know they took testings, SOME come from the same exact place, mesopetamia, and what was mesopatamia back them? dont tell me media lol!!!!

  • don t u know media. can i ask? where s ur greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat assyria? :D do u undertand. u know my mean? ı think u know now. and stop send messag for this nice songs area.

  • u right not know media and assyria. but all world know KURDİSTAN. answer my questions. where is assyria. i answer. MEdian Empire fuck assyrian emp. do u undertoos my mean?=

  • My Assyria is exactly where you think your kurdistan is, face the truth mesopetamia is NOT your ORGINAL land. And the Medians could NOT beat the assyrians alone, that is why they called the stronger babylonians to help. And then ofcourse you turned your back on them as well. After you guys took mesopetamia, how long you last??Like 200 years only. Mesopetamia is the harderst land to control which Assyria had controlled for around 5000 years, medias couldnt last 300 years. Learn to write english too.

  • Yeahdan23, sorry to disappoint you but eastern anatolia belongs to my ancestors, the Hurrians. They where there before the semitic people wandered to middle east and are still here as Kurds. But I hope an Assyria will be created too, no people should be without a nation and be oppressed.

    Biji Kurdistan

    Biji Assyria

  • im afriad thats not true. You see the hurrians dont go any farther then 2500 bc. When not even the oldest semetic empire(akkadians) go even farther then the hurrians. I can agree with both nation for country but you cant call yourself hurrian, theres not enough proof for that, or should i say none.

  • No there is proof in linguistic, culture and dna. And yes the hurrian where before your people in anatolia, their history goes back to the halaf period which is more than 8000 years. They are considered to be the first people in middle east.

  • As much as we would like that, we cant make stuff up. I mean it is not even a question that the Sumerians were in Mesopotamia before anyone. Assyrians are known to the world as the cradle of civilizations. You see there are 3 places known as cradle of civiizations. Mesopotamia, Egypt, and China. And the place with the best explanation is Mesopatamia. And they figured out that Sumerians were there before all. Why when you open a history book for middle east, you always see Sumer first.

  • The Sumerian people is known to be the first civilization in the middle east. Do I have to write what civilization means? You where not there first, it is the people that comes from the halaf period.

Yeah, the earliest record is from the 3th millennium. But the ancestors of the hurrians goes back to the halaf period.

  • My friend, Sumer, akkad, assyria, they also came from halaf period. And even now Tell halaf the most famous site for halaf period is still all assyrians surrounding it.

You still cannot say Kurds came from Medes or Hurrians, because every kurd says something else about where they are from and who they are. Most of them have no idea who they are but they just like to give the credit to themselves.

  • Yes we can, because there is proof in linguistic, culture and dna. Yes, most kurds have no idea because the history about kurds was blurry. Because there was so little facts about kurds they started to study dna, but also the surroundings, sumerians called us kardak from north(i think it was) romans called the area Corduene, Aleksandar the great called the people karduchi.

Kurds history is a difficult task because lack of resources and some connection the historians want, the proof is there.

  • DNA was taken from assyrians, showed there orgin from northern mesopetamia. When i said assyrians, sumer,etc.. are from halaf period, i meant as in halaf time period because we both know halaf isnt a people its a name of time. Now speaking of halaf period, halaf period was emerged from northern mesopetamia, and not anatolia. You say east anatolia is for hurrians, hurrians are from mesopetamia and not anatolia. Which assyrians go back farther then hurrians.

  • Yeah, when it comes to kurds it is a complicated thing. The DNA researching is evolving but I heard very soon (and how soon that is I don't know) they will be able to do full scan on DNA . When that comes I am going to check my DNA for fun.

But northern mesopotamia is eastern anatolia (okay more south eastern anatolia).

  • Now lets talk about how you say you are hurrian. Hurrian are known to originate not even from anatolia, but came from north of turkey, and are from caucasus mountains, not in anatolia. So how can you be hurrian, and come from halaf period when halaf is Northeren mesopetamia, and hurrian are from north of turkey from caucasus mountains. So now according to kurds, they are hurrians, medes, when they both come from totally diferent orgins. When we speak DNA how is this possible?

  • As I said, history is complicated, because people where conquering and so on and the minorities where assimilated. There is connection when checking kurdish language, culture and dna to these peoples, the Hurrians, Hittites and Medians. How this is possible no one knows and historians are still researching about it. Some thinks the hurrians and hettites where assimilated by the medes, some says they want more proof to be certain they are ancestors of the kurds.

  • But to do this, they need more DNA research, more research about the surrounding people like the sumerians, armenians, byzhante, medes, hurrians and so on. I believe the DNA research will give the truth about us. A kurdish professor thinks all these people the hurrians, hettites where assimilated by the medes. But they all have somehow affected the medes language, culture and so on.

  • The names fo the kurds have been many:

    Karda/Kurdu by the sumerians

    (medes)

    Guti/Quti by Babylonians

Corduene by romans also known as karduchi

    Kurds (today)

  • Well the thing is your unsure, but its doesnt matter all humans. We all meet up somewhere in history.

  • You are too, you and me aren't historians, even if we where, the historians are also not 100% correct and sure, because the further we go back in time the harder it gets. Hopefully kurds and assyrians will cooperate and create our nations and set our people free from oppression, and hopefully in a peaceful way. Feels like a ww3 is going to happen when you read all the news.

  • Yes but you see our name is still assyrian when you guys are kurds when there was never kurds 2000 years ago. So that is what i meant when i said unsure. Best of luck to both our people.

  • What I meant was, the name kurd have existed a long time. What I wrote are records from other people.

The sumerians during 3000+ bc called the mountain people (kurds) for karda/kurdu.

In 2000 bc the babylonians called the kurds for Guti/Qutil.

During the roman empire expansion they visited the mountain people in eastern anatolia, they called the area for Corduene (around 60bc I think it was).

  • This is what makes kurdish history really complicated, why I don't know. Why is there evidence of my peoples name in other sumerian/babylonian/greek/roman history when there also is evidence of median and hurrian connection to my people.

Hopefully this complicated issue will be solved soon.

Yeah, best of luck to both our people. No one should be oppressed and killed for land, in the end we all are the same, from adam and eve.

  • Hmm sumerian, akkad and assyrian from halaf period? Give me links on where I can read about it, sounds interesting because the semitic people should have been near egypt around 6000 bc. But maybe we have something incommon from the past.

  • "The Hurrians were one of a people important in the history and culture of the Middle East during the 2nd millennium BC. The earliest recorded presence of Hurrian personal and place names is in Mesopotamian records of the late 3rd millennium; these point to the area east of the Tigris River and the mountain region of Zagros as the Hurrian habitat. "

    These arent my words.

  • And what the hell is undertoos? Am i debating a fool?

  • assyria is exactly where kurdistan is. if we get our own land, our brothers can get theres too. not right only we get land.

    Biji Kurdistan

    Biji Assyria

  • asuri xayin u bêbextin QET ne dostê kurdanin. zanibi

  • @Yeahdan23 the truth is..assyrians and kurds need their own country and they dont need opression...it's hard to see "who was where" in what time..every nationality is supposed to have a country, supposed to belong to a country. not belong to someone else's country. I don't like to say "I'm a Kurd from Iraq" because I am not an Arab...it's silly to just exist and then not have a country?? I mean come on...I am a Kurd and I'm for a future Assyria and a future Kurdistan!

  • @YourSmile86 THANK YOU!

  • xwase :)

  • one of nicest kurdish song.

  • Verry good.
