  • I do something very similar to this but the problem that I have is when the guy defending the pass turns to the side I am passing and holds my hips away with straight arms. This gives him time to shrimp out and regain the guard.

  • roberto is very very good jits player and a good instructor, good passes on this clip, standard in BJJ but very effective at all levels

  • cool

  • there is no perfect guard pass. I don't think that this pass is going to be very successfull against an experienced grappler, but you try it and then move on to something else

  • this guard pass will work against anyone. you just have to know when to do it. you might never use it but there might be one time when it feels right and you just go and the pass works. oh and every move is harder to pull off on an experienced grappler.

  • i don't like this pass at all.. it has a lot of flaws that even a white belt could see..

  • sure if that is what you think - Roberto is a 2nd Degree in BJJ straight from Brazil. So I assume he knows what he is teaching. But everyone is entitle to their own opinion. Thanks for your feedback

  • don't forget to rate our videos
