Its sad to hear the beautiful Oneida language disappearing, but whats so hard on teaching and speaking in to your children? I'm a member of the Zuni Pueblo of NM and I speak it fluently. My great grandparents, grandparents and parents taught us children to speak the Zuni language even though they experience the boarding school era.
@nicostyles21 its selfhate and ignorance that keeps our people colonized. im learning my native tongue nawat that was taken away from my ancestors hundreds of years ago and im learning it just fine and quick.
many thanks maria your help wont go unused!!! it will live on through our children
