  • cant you put an electric coil that heats up on the end and put a small gen to the engine to make the power to heat the coil

  • เอ่อ มานคือเครื่องอะไรครับ

  • Dear Mr/How are you..

I d like know if possible the Power of this 30cm weels+ two Piston. Stirling ?

    neyous@live.jp

  • 200.9 mph its going if u put that in a rc car it wil go 900+ mph 0-60 in 0.000004 mill sec's

  • @DJSHAWCROSS I think something is wrong with your math, but put in in as a generator for an electric car, and off you go.

  • irre :)

  • I could play with this shit whole day. lol.

  • Your torch tips don't match, therefore your video is non-symetrical and a complete failure...

Just kidding. That's a tremendously cool little stirling engine. And it's fun to watch it running, too. I hit "like" on this vid. ;)

  • If you think about it. A sterling engine that is built into a car that has good enough cooling on the ends of the cylinders and draws heat from the exhaust manifold which is always hot. Could probably power a good alternator. That way the cars engine won't have to loose power to drive the alternator.

  • Perpetum mobile!!!

  • that little thing could put out 100rpm and look at its size just think about it u can make it like 3 times bigger you could brobaly power a motercycle or a small car

  • what if we could get a car to run off of an engine like this

  • Nice , but it is still old school technology...

  • @Magnetmotorman So is the wheel. I promise that you use that daily.

  • @pij17

Yeah, but the wheel wont get mech better before we dont need them anymore.

  • What are the hotcaps made from? Nice work.Tremendous.

  • Hi Geoffory,

do you know where the plan for this motor can be purchased?

  • Mesmering to watch, and beautyfullly crafted

  • Thats so beautifull!

  • Excellent!

  • this sounds like a realy silent one compared to others...

  • congrats for your engine, it looks awesome. Is there any way I can get the blueprints ? Thanks

  • Can you let me know how i can get the plans to make one of these?

  • Have you thought of any practical uses for this motor?

Bicouse the rpm is hella fast and it's working like a clock.

    :)

  • any guess on how much horse power?

  • practically no horsepower. stirlings are very weak engines. that is why they are never used anymore.

  • High power Stirling engines are normally operatied significantly above atmospheric pressure, and use helium gas. Sweden manages to power it's subs very effectively with such devices.

  • if they are so weak in HP, why is Stirling Energy Systems using them to power a 25KW generator??

  • @altern8energy They're using a hi-tech 4 cylinder Stirling engine, with the same working principle of these models on YouTube, but with massively different design. They use top quality materials and look like common diesel/petrol engines, but with huge radiators and incredible heat exchangers. Also, they run with high pressure hydrogen. Simply amazing, Google them. =)

  • @PedraumF yeah I know.. I've done the research... time to take those 4 cylinder Stirling engines that run on compressed hydrogen and use HHO from splitting water to be used as the heat source to then crank a 25KW generator.. I've played with HHO.. It melts tungsten at 6000F. It's also been shown to reach temps of 13000F in laboratory settings. That kind of heat you could flash steam to turn turbines or as the heat source to run large Stirling engines.

  • @altern8energy well maby they have a very very good gear reducer on there.. orr maby theres is alot bigger.

  • @altern8energy - Because an internal combustion engine of a similar size and weight can develop more (and more controlable) torque. The Stirling designs are actually more efficient than an IC engine, but they work best as low-torque constant-velocity applications. Yes, it's a good generator...

  • @stonerj0e: Actually sterling engines are used to recover electricity from hot exhaust sources at some power plants.

  • @stonerj0e they are still used, in power generation, (at waste burning facilities) and I have seen one that powered a large pump.

  • What rpm is that?

  • hella RPM. nice!

  • friggin awesome

  • Congrats. Thats the nicest sterling engine I have ever seen.

  • Géniale tout simplement.

  • FANTASTIC !

  • you say that your shop teacher sells sets of plans for this engine. I would like to get a set. How can I get in touch with him or does he sell them on line? you also said that you use a Hass to machine most of the parts, does he also sell the programs used on the machine?

  • cool

  • whats the hp?

  • how stressful is it to make????

  • 어떻게 만들었어요? 도면좀~~ㅋㅋ

  • Your machine looks good I would like to make one like it to go with my set of engines (see my videos "jaguarB")would you let me know how I can get a drawing set for the machine you are showning.

  • wonderful! it's absolutely great stirling engine ever I've seen.

  • Yes, that is an ingenius design. Beautifully executed construction. Is it original or are their plans already available?

  • Ouch! I don't think I could bear to put a blowtorch on something so nice!

    Thanks for showing it.

  • One of the most attractive stirling engines I've seen yet!

  • such amazing simplicity ...work of art 100%

  • nice motor

  • WOW

  • Truly a Beautiful machine.

  • I don't have a way of measuring torque or power output on the motor. I have measured the speed, however. It has only had about an hour of run-in, but as it stands, it tops out at 1280 RPM.

  • thats a nice motor!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how much torque
