1. Because the english dub was a censored, butchered, and altered beyond recognition mess compared to its far superior Japanese original counterpart.

2. They lost the rights to it (Thank God, they spared Sailor Stars from suffering the same fate as season 1-4!)

This one is more of a bad adaptation lol I mean come on, no dub where they change the characters' names and change the entire series into an educational superhero show from a pg-13 action/comedy/romance series can possibly be acceptable.
