I have read the Quran and nowhere does it say that women should make the circuncición, I consider it an heinous crime against the female gender it is a shame that the world allows such inhuman and wild practices, is a perverse and unfair treatment given to women, but the worst is that women them selves from Muslim countries are so uninformed that they agree bend so brutally. What needs to be said here is that FGM is practiced virtually only by Muslims. Let's call a spade a spade and tell it like it is: virtually all FGM procedures are carried out in Islamic societies. There is a direct and intensely strong correlation between FGM and fundamental Islam.

@feministsAreCorrupt. I am not condoning circumcision for males but there is a significant differencesin SEVERITY between that and female genital mutilation. Men can still have an orgasm after circumcision. Women who have experienced genital mutilation have had the entire nerve system excised where orgasm is impossible. Also at the base of the clit is a major artery which cutting often results in death. The wall of scar tissue makes menstruation take forever &often causes death in childbirth.

You are describing the least common form of FGM. The most common is partial or complete removal of the female foreskin or clitoral hood. You can find Singapore Muslim mothers bantering about what is the best age to do this.

In the US, 700,000 infant boys are subjected to painful removal of healthy erogenous tissue each year with no medical justification. It should be illegal

All of those groups do not follow their other traditions such as animal sacrifice. Female circumcision is not the equivalent of having your dick chopped off. It's brutal no question, but it's not sexually debilitating, unless you're talking about the worst, and most rare form of FGM.
