  • This story is touching, Like others I've read soo far, I loved this the most. Not only I understand what she goes through, I also get to expirience the style and living in china, it was sad when PLT and yeye.

  • Falling Leaves ,, one of my best true story I ever read ,, for the first time I cried while reading a book ,, God bless you Adeline

  • Chinese Cinderella made me cry like hell.Especially the parts where PLT and Ye Ye died. And those parts where Niang and other family members treat her badly.I also wish she will find her father's will one day.

  • Adeline Yen Mah is an amazing writer

  • I just read falling leaves, I read it before when I was 12, and as I re-read it these days, it filled me with hope. It also gave me much sadness. Her older sister Lydia was plotting against her to Niang when Adeline was helping Lydia's children. So, Niang left her out of her will. So sad

  • OMG I cried when I read her book Falling Leaves. It was so heartfelt and amazing. It makes me realize how rich and diverse my Chi Culture is.

  • HUWAW! miss adeline yen mah :D

  • She wrote a great novel-Falling Leaves. So glad that she is happier now, with her stepmother dead and a husband who truly cared for her and 2 children.

  • Haha!!!! yeaaa!! is there a photo of her stepmom somewhere? im reading fallin leaves---and omg, i imagine her face really scary!

  • Honey, I don't think she looks scary on the outside, but you know very well she 's scary on the inside. Her stepmother was a woman of great beauty, mainly due to her half-Franch, half-chinese genes.Read it again, it 's stated in the books.

  • i have read chineese cinderella but i wanna read falling leaves

  • Yes, i've seen her face. There's a picture of her in Chinese Cinderella book. Several pictures of her family.
