LoL, every time I get in my dad's truck (auto) I find myself swatting around looking for the shifter at my right side when I need to change out of park or from reverse to forward. Just too used to the stick, nothing else feels right now. Even braking without downshifting seems weird now. Coincidentally I am also studying Mechanical Engineering Technology like the dude in the video claims to be as well. lol

Kind of reminds of a time when I had to drive my boss and his boss and a bunch of other stuffy company bigwigs to a jobsite.

I was driving our company van and was doing fine until I casually put the clutch to the floor while doing about 40 mph. One problem though, it was an automatic and it wasn't the clutch pedal I put to the floor, it was the brake!

Needless to say the VP of the company made my boss drive on the way back.
