Hill and T-Mac have so much talent it's ridiculous! If injuries didn't ruin their careers they would've easily marked the last decade along with Kobe!
People keep saying that the Hill and Nash are getting too old, but I'm not seeing the aging. Nash posted up some of the best numbers of his career, and Hill has gone crazy, and BOTH have been injury free. They both look like they could go for a few more years. And that's understating it.
If Grant Hill stayed through all those years without the injury, He might be the GREATEST EVER . I mean who's Jason Kidd ? Grant Hill had 25 triple doubles in a single season .
@Traumerei112 ==Best ever? Not even close, but in the top 20-50? Certainly in that argument...I doubt I see a player that "WOWS" me like Jordan, I thought LeBron had a a chance, but he lacks the personality/killer instinct needed to be the GOAT...Kobe has it, but he is, overall, just a notch below MJ, and probably finished #2-7 on the GOAT list...imo, of course...
wow! great to see him dunking the ball again. I wish grant is still on his 20s.. he is one of the 2 reasons why I am a big suns fan. the other one is of course nash. :)
i heard people saying that he would be the next jordan if there wasn't them injuries...those were some hard injuries, but this dunk right here didn't show that,,this is one of the best dunks i've seen for real
I love you guys! :) It's good to see that there are still so many people out there who remember how sick Grant Hill used to be before the injuries! I grew up watching him play and I'm happy for him finally playing without injuries and showing some his old skills. Probably one of the few players everyone likes...he so deserves a ring. Man, what a career he could have had!? Watch out for the Suns this year...maybe he'll get his ring after all! :)
Good Job Grant Hill! Way to dunk on that buster! I hate Joakim Noah! I hated him even when he played with Florida Gators. Straight Buster got served! LOL (I'm laughing so hard my stomach is hurting right now!)
This guy came back though and is able to show us a reminder of his insane talent despite being 36 and having 4 ankle reconstructions, yet he still does this!!! yeah baby!!
Yeah, and if it weren't for the injuries. People would be saying Grant Hill among Kobe, Lebron, and Dwayne talk all the time. Maybe he would've even been better than those 3, and people would be saying after Grant Hill whose better Lebron, Kobe, or Wade? LOL Grant Hill's future would've been limitless. Can you imagine? :)
I agree the 90's produced the best NBA players, Jordan, Penny, Grant,. Today's NBA is a shell of its former self. Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway had the makings of a 90's version of Kobe, LeBron.
Hill is far better than Barnes what a question!! But the Suns will let Barnes go before Hill but Hill wont wanna be a back up to no one. Hes a starter in this league not a back up.
who do you think would fit best to be paul pierce's backup? grant hill or matt barnes ? dont say hedo or trevor ariza cause the celtics cant affort them, and anyways i dont think trevor or hedo would ever play back up they are starters!
HOOLLY SH!!!!!T THaz OLD school Grant Hill rite there.... doin what he does best.. Clowning fools. Man, I missed how good this guy used to be.. im glad he still does sh!t like this once in a while..
Yeah Yeah but who won this game and swept the season series between these two teams? DA BULLS.
By the way I am a Grant Hill fan. If he never had those injury issues in his career than he would be at the tail end of closing a Lebron James-like career now.
I am not disagreeing. I know my Bulls are a young work in progress. Your Suns team is very good and if they were in the East they would be the 4-5 seed for sure. In a long REG Season we just caught you on nights that we were hot and your team was not. Its a complement to your team that I am bragging that sweeping the Suns is an accomplisment because its shows how good your team is when a team like mine uses that as a bright spot.
Noah is very cocky..I went to school with him in gainsville..such a manwhore...im glad he has had trouble in the NBA..NOAH you are NOT in college anymore grow up!!!
man the old guys have been posting good numbers at phoenix, how good has shaq been in the last few weeks. hill has been playing well too, got 17 points last night against the lakers. Go grant hill! Bet he doesnt wear fila any more though?
The commentator said "CRIKEY" because a bunch of Australians (and a New Zealander) were watching the game with me -- they'd been following the Suns through the previous road trip and this 4-game home stand.
itd be nice to see grant hill playing with that sort of confidence every game. hes sort've humbled himself down because of his age, the injuries, and that hes surrounded by younger allstar plays on his team, but if he had the sorta mindset he did when he was the number 1 player in detroit, he'd be among the best today.
nobody can stay in the air forever man, these players will have to stop dunking sometime in their career. even MJ had to stop doing that, kobe and lebron will have to stop too in years to come. what a vet has got to do is to make the team better, VC is doing a good job lifting the nets youngsters
