since everyone was commenting about extreme cubing, i thought i would give it a go! try cubing when a person is pointing a gun @ you,running through deep snow while being chase by bears in a avelange while having to listen to horrible music basted in your ears and then disassmble and reassemble the whole cube . All in all for only 6 seconds! think you can do that?

No it wouldn't. He's heavier, but he has more air resistance. The cube would likely (slowly) pick up speed and drop below him, since it has less surface area, therefore less wind resistance, and all objects fall at the same rate. But as it was tied to his wrist, it doesn't matter in the slightest.

Thanks everyone for your comments. As you can tell from the video, I was really psyched when I finished the cube before we pulled the chute.

As for the issue of not dropping the cube, I trained while leaning out of a car window and shaking my hands. It wasn't really a problem during the jump--I just have to keep a tight grip with one hand at all times.
