but the oppo is on bypass, so the psaudio might be converted back to digital by the rotel, processed, then back to analog abain (extra conversion), so basically you are listening to the rotel DAC

Yes Oppo wins but the high end stereo stores will never admit it. How come Amazon can sell Oppo but not best buy or Walmart?

@chapmando2007 Walmart sells low quality merchendise(production cost) while bestbuy have partnered with a company called Magnolia, which are licensed to carry very specific electronics. As for amazon, think of it as an Umbrella store that covers the whole spectrum (standard to high end) which Oppo might fall under.
