@thisAWESOMEchick1 no, general show is just a performance to fill in the gap between different competitions (for example, the pageant, singing, dancing) so in between switching to a topic contest, there's general performances. they dont win, they're not judge nor do they get money. it's all volunteer.
Also, the audio to videos is never like the actual performance. I'm guessing that probably has something to do with why it's harder to understand her words.
Successful people always exhibit confidence. If others perceive it the wrong way, that's their own misunderstanding, especially if they've never taken time to meet the person they're talking so much crap about. It just makes me sad when Hmong people bash on other Hmong people's success for no reason, really. We need to unite a Hmong community, not step down upon one another when someone succeeds. Just make sure to get your facts down before you say such harsh statements.
Great voice, she is confident but I can't make out any word that is coming out of her mouth. Perhaps, focus on enunciating your words more. You got the voice but just work on your words.
@ll8419 i don't think she sounds like a dog barking. But I do think that yes if you are going to be a singer no matter how good you are, there is always someone better. Sometimes certain singers who have a lot of confidence take it the wrong way and show others how good they think they are and then not realizing that it just makes them look bad. I am not on anyone's side but I am just stating my opinion because i too love to sing but I do not carry myself that way!! :p
