Those old Velocettes are really beautiful machines and they sound magnificent. That hot thumper accelerating out of the turn in the beginning of the race sounds like my 850 Commando at 7000rpm.
Thanks for the feedback. I think the hot thumper you refer to is the Series A Vincent twin belonging to Kal Carrick of Darwin NT. Kal crashed it the next day when the gearbox seized and damaged his foot, so later sold the bike. It is now back in Perth being punted with great success by Tony Hines. JJ
The historics are great to watch,we have been watching them since the mid eighties,me and my bro would love to join,but we need a couple of old strokers! great vid!!
