  • What is wrong with this stupid hunter, somebody should kill him in the same way.

  • You have no idea how far this boy will go to protect the wildlife that you take for granted. An asshole shot this bobcat. Plain and simple.

  • White trash, always white trash. I stand by my statement.

  • No ratboy, we just stumble upon reminders like this of all the white trash out there that finds it enjoyable to do this to animals. God help you if I stumble into you in the woods if you're doing something like this.

  • @mountaingazer Wow, God help me? How far you willing to go chowder boy to preserve the honor of the bobcat? I know how far I'm willing to go to protect myself, the trick is do you have the balls or are you just mouth. I tell ya what tonight for you I'm gonna get a bobcat and eat it in your honor. And you should thank God that you don't ever stumble upon a hunter like me in the woods, it would be life changing for you.

  • What the hell, all you bleedin' hearts over a simple predator, too bad you goody goodies don't give this much care to your fellow man, these bobcats can be a pain in the ass if you live in the woods and own a cat or dog, or if your a farmer with rabbits and chickens. If I see these bastards in the woods I kill them..period. You bleedin' heart retards should get a life.

  • I live down here, in this area, and there is no real need for killing these cats. Their population is low enough and there aren't any farmers that are having their chickens eaten by them down in the swamp. There is nothing like sitting in a stand and watching one walk by in it's search for rodents. They are beautiful animals. I was raised by, and live by, the creed that if it is not to be eaten then it is not to be killed. A true hunter has respect for the life they are taking.

  • actually if who ever shot this bobcat at the begining of General Gun season shot him illegally. General gun season starts november 13 and your not allowed to kill bobcats after December 1. so if this bobcat was shot in November then I hope the catch the person who done this.

  • HELL HELL HELL ALL OF YOU ARE GOING TO BE HEADED THAT WAY!

  • Was it legal game at the time it was shot? Were there specific laws taking your studies into consideration? What was your study?

  • @cjleger337

It was legal, but it makes no sense. People will shoot a cat for a variety of reasons, none of which are justified. 1. You have the ppl who want a trophy on the wall. To me they are like the predators in the film Predator. Its just plain selfish. Then there are the ignorant hunters who think bobcats kill too many deer or turkey and thus robbing the hunter of the kill. Bullshit! Bobcats mostly eat rodents. The rest are just trigger happy bogans who probably beat their wives.

  • @tmallow2004

And FYI - none of these idiots who kill a bobcat do it to put food on the table. If you do, then you are pretty hardcorps, but still a fool. :)

  • @tmallow2004

In the dead of winter, a single deer will feed a bobcat and its 1-3 kittens if female for several days. This would be up in the northern latitudes. Even if the deer was its only diet, you are talking about a cat that uses a few thousand acres. Mathematically, thats one deer every 3-5 days per 14-25 square kilometers. It is hunters who deplete the deer herds, or at best help regulate them. That cat is not even coming close to the level of take the hunters do.

  • @tmallow2004 where did you get these figures at? You forget the animals are for us to eat not watch as they frolic in the woods with bambi, I shoot'em I eat'em, you no like too bad.

  • @tmallow2004 since when? Have you ate bobcat before? I have, tastes like chicken, I bet your a veggie boy, who else would waste their time putting up bullcrap like this, I hope it wasn't taxpayer dollars doing this bobcat death analysis, hey did you return the dead carcass to the woods so the other animals could eat it or did you toss it in the trash? Conservation? Skin the sucker and eat'em or toss him for the other animals to eat.

  • @tmallow2004 this statement of yours is bullshit, we have tons of farmers around here who would tear you a new one hearing you say that, the bobcats are destructive and if they cut into my livelihood I will hunt them to extinction, your an idiot and your study is bogus and full of it, just another bleeding heart moron Bambi lover, your statements will get you into trouble someday, I would just keep them here on youtube.

  • I'd also like to find the MFer who did this. Some backwoods yahoo with no education nor decency. I was shot by a 45 cal accidentally last week and was fortunate to receive prompt medical attention. I will be suffering for some time however. This poor animal suffered for days needlessly because of an asshole. I hope I run into you friend.

  • @mountaingazer hey big talker if you caught me in the woods what would you do? What an idiot!

  • bobcats are legal game.

  • is that a tracking collar? i think is just as bad as a hunter shooting one. i have shot three this year.because of the way there stampeded my cattle and there dangerous.

  • koolmustang, it is a collar. I placed the collar months earlier. The reason I did so was as part of a large study to detect corridors of travel and larger core tracts in order to determine if this massive swamp/pine region could support a population of Florida panther.

  • This is about preserving wildlife and maximizing biodiversity so what little is left of the natural world, the legacy of nature, your own backyard, does not waste away to an urban jungle. The fact is that the collar is not an impediment to their life. Sorry about your cattle, but you are misinformed. Bobcats have no interest in cattle and they will not stampede by a 28 pound cat. The cows are simply too large. It was probably a cougar that was spooking your herd.

  • This regal master of the night - his name was Ntwadumela, which is a Savuti name meaning "He who greets with fire". He was the bobcat I had to go chase after through a thicket and recapture by hand when he bolted prematurely from the enclosure.

  • Sorry to hear of the bobcat dying due to the ignorance of a hunter. It is sad to see a beautiful predator, such as this, die. Thanks for the film Crim.

  • @KMK39 yea it sure is so sad, rather see a human starving in the streets huh? You people are morons. Do any of you lovers of nature volunteer your time to help feed the homeless or do you just youtube browse looking for these poor wounded creatures?
