@DigitalSketcher hmm, interesting. well actually you can play the "Born From A Wish" side story for Maria on the GREATEST HITS PS2 version of the game also.

Hahahahaha! Well you're lucky that's all it is, my ps3 trying to play SILENT HILL 2 will completely forget to render Jame's right leg every couple of seconds.
I played SH2 on my PS3 and James' head, arms and legs would randomly disappear. Not to mention the Great knife glitch is like amplified to the max. Poor James.

i have an 360° too and i wanted to play it on that ... what happened ? I installed the upgrade from the official internet page to play those old games and i got only the sound of silent hill 2 ^^ that was much more scary than the ordinary version xP but still it didnt work with better grafic connection to the screen i cried all my time and had to borrow an old xbox ... =(
Have you ever found a way to fix this? Mine does the same thing, and will NOT go away. :(
Also, I had to start a new save, because on the 3rd floor of the hospital, the touch-pad for the door is not a touch pad. It was ONCE, then I went back to check the code, went in again, and suddenly its an open 'diary' book. I can click and hear buttons pressing towards the center, but can't see what I'm coding in. Again, big frown to that. So far SH2 sucks major ass for me on the 360.
