I love economics as much as the next guy, but this is a G rated movie. A movie for children. What child understands Wallstreet? I heard it starts when Andy leaves for college.  And they get dumped at a daycare. Supposedly, Rex, Hamm, and Slinky try to find their twin brothers or something like that. But it all sounds like they've taken the holy name of Toy Story and turned it into "The Brave Little Toaster" for the new movie. WHY can't they let a movie have "And they lived happily ever after" without going on into what happened next? I LIKED how the second movie ended! It didn't need a third movie!

They don't put movies in the vault based on quality...

all movies go out of print, Disney just happens to be the only one that tries to market that fact to scare people into buying "before its too late".

But Andrew Stanton assures us this 3rd movie will meet or surpass the standard the other 2 have set, so I'm not too worried. Have faith.

Who's Andrew Stanton? Last I knew, John Lasseter was the original director for the Toy Story series, and he's not going to be in on the new movie! And his replacement is Lee Unkrich (or something like that).

I just read it on IMDb. I think there was another site I checked, but I forget what it was.

sequels? there has only been one so far, Toy Story 2, and it was arguably better than the original. (its still my favorite Pixar movie of all time)

Lee Unkrich co wrote Toy Story 2, I'm sure he can hold his own in for the third movie.

once again, Every Disney movie ends up in the vault. Aladdin and the Lion King are in the vault for crying out loud.

Im sure you know who Andrew Stanton is. Director of Wall e and Nemo. and he helped get Toy Story 3 started, make sure its on the right track.

Also, Lasseter isn't the only director that can do Toy Story justice. He's not perfect, Cars is an example of that. and I'm sure he's over seeing the third movie to make sure it meets his standards.

I know Toy Story 2 was incredible as a sequal; I saw it, loved it, memorized it, and own it. But that is only fuelling the flames for the probability of failure.

This is my personal opinon but I liked SOME PIECES of Toy Story 1 better than the sequal and vice versa. Just wish Jessie and Bullseye were in the original.

And I think Lee helped John Lasseter write Toy Story 2.

Nah, in the movie when the helmet opened it went all the way inside into the back. Only on the real toys did they open half way. and even those didn't have a tab.
