@RapIsDeadly I hardly doubt that SNSD would actually make it far in the U.S. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing them in anyway, but when have you seen the whole Cutesy thing take off in the U.S. I don't know one singer who has rode the cutesy and adorable wave and gotten far. 2ne1 has a chance BECAUSE of their tough exterior. And on looks, well that's for everyone to decide for themselves. To be honest, I find them much prettier than many K-Pop girls, but then again; it's only my opinion.
In Japan they did not come off like this. They changed their music drastically and they came off "harder and more sexy" the music was much better also.
For the U.S. they came up with The Boys. I was rather dissapointed to tell you the truth. The only song on their lastest album that would do well in the U.S. is TRICK.

Nope. They just have ALLOT of backing vocals. I guess the reason being for all the effects and such (the delay, harmonics, autotune,...). You can tell when they're singing and when they're not. (like the final dance was obviously playbacked, but from a dancing point of view, that's understandable). Plus, when they're jumping all over the stage, their voices become unstable (heavy breathing,...it's normal) i guess the supporting vocals help them with that as well.
Only thing I don't like about music like this is that its has so much auto tunge that their actual voices arnt heard in a live performance such as this one

@Alucard2091 ohh with WonderGirls, well I do know they can talk better english than 2ne1 and they have this viral song " Nobody " I remembered dancing it to it :P. ANyway I'm not really familiar with them but from what I have seen from some of their performances, they are a bit classy, not really cutesy, more mature I think but still it doesnt go beyond the usual Kpop girl band DNA. there was no Edge. they are good but they dont WOW.

Only thing I don't like about music like this is that its has so much auto tunge that their actual voices arnt heard in a live performance such as this one

@Alucard2091 ohh with WonderGirls, well I do know they can talk better english than 2ne1 and they have this viral song " Nobody " I remembered dancing it to it :P. ANyway I'm not really familiar with them but from what I have seen from some of their performances, they are a bit classy, not really cutesy, more mature I think but still it doesnt go beyond the usual Kpop girl band DNA. there was no Edge. they are good but they dont WOW.

@AALIYAHFOREVER22YOUN Nope, they just used better camera. You can hear Bom catching her breath. There are background vocals but this is live. You can hear the background vocals at some point (e.g. the "oh my god" part wherein you can hear 2 voices) YG's main rule: No lip syncing.

@AALIYAHFOREVER22YOUN Nope it isn't you can hear their voices along with the music. Many artist do this because of dance moves and stuff that may cause them to have to catch their breaths. You can hear kinda two voices at the same pitch when you watch this.
