same crash that hapend to mark niver but marks parchutes came out and blew off but the chaisis broke off the same way marks did. i think nhra needs a difernt kind of net or somthing

@aud6875 the problem with the nets now is that they are too strong. they need something that slow them down easy, not those tight nets that make the nose of the car turn up and hit the driver in the face. in my opinion they need a longer stretch of sand and a wall of water filled plastic barrels that will soften the impact instead of suddenly stopping them with a net.

god,apparently, you have to be in a crash to get on tv when racing in the nhra, in 2005 we beat ron capps' brother,jon capps,and for the first time we made it to the second round,and they dont even talk to our driver (Ben Harper,he drove the top alcohol dragster that was sponsored by Integra golf,randy was our first driver before ben, that why this is a related subject)(by the way, i was the wingman, lol), it was terrible, as a matter of fact, they talked to jon instead of ben, it was rediculous

but yeah, glad randy's ok, he's a great guy, and a pretty good driver, he just never really drives for a good team (our team was terrible, like i said, it was the first time we made it to the second round, and the team had been around since at least 2002 or so) however, since then, we actually have gotten 2 different drivers (probably about to get a new one soon) both Brain Smith (2006 to 2007) and then Dell Cox (2008 -2009) who was our current driver, but finally got a top fuel deal i guess

Man, that sucks. The catch net at Pomona always eats up at least one race car at every national event there.
