i am sooo glad i found a REALL handstand tutorial....but very sad too cause i am late...i already know how to walk and stand on my hands :( but this tut was the best i have seen dude :) ...i can show this to my buddies :D
@Tactix87 hmm....i got a question..if i am doing many handstant attepts, walks and pushups every day is there a possibility that i can damage my wrists??(i can feel pain on my left one for a week now) and are there any exercises i can do to get it over?(i know you aren't a doctor but who knows :D)
@Partufas You have to stretch out your wrist. There's specific exercises for this on p90x dvds can't remember which one.....actually check out my Turtle Freeze tutorial and I actually demonstrate the exercise there
thank you for NOT having a lame tutorial video. LOL! I've watched a bunch of them. Trying to teach my daughter a handstand so she can start learning more breaking moves. =) she's 7.
good job and really thankx for this, is the sequance or the best way to do it is stand alot of time on wall i mean long time on the wall , 1 mint or alot that will give me to can do it ?!
u have given another meaning to the term .... u cant run before u learn to walk... ill try ur technique...but ill still need the wall i suppose..just trying to balance with one leg on the wall...
please tell me how much time it took u ti balance...pi still need the wall and sometimes i do balance myself for some seconds without support but generally i need the wall...wrists hurt...and shoulders take some pounding..but getting used to it...
@superchiku :P you're wrist hurt because you haven't master the move yet so you attempt multiple times and it puts a strain on them..once you get them down...you won't feel pain as much....it took me awhile to learn....but i always tried walking on my hands to help improve my balance.....I would walk then stop and try to hold it....then walk stop and try to hold it etc
ya i understand...but iam no bodybuilder...if u look at me ull think i dont eat properly...
i just go there to gain fitness and strength which i think i have ... as u said the problem is strength building for particular muscles which will help me do handstand..
..thanks again for the wonderful advice...ill do this thing....ill drag my mom into this as a spotter...lol....
@superchiku haha do what you can lol, let me know how it goes...I expect you to have this down in less than 2 months so i better see a video of you walking on your hands :P
well..abt fitness and muscles.... i run for 5kms daily.. and am quite flexible...and i hit the gym 5 days a week..may be its just the balance and guts... well ill keep trying though.... maybe i was expecting to get a hold of it in 4 days lol.....thanks for the awesome comments.... ur really gud
@superchiku What u do in the gym plays a very little part, believe it or not most body builders can barely do 20 push ups yet they can bench press a ridiculous amount ...it's all about training the right muscles....Even if you were to do shoulder presses in the gym, sure you'll get stronger...but your not working out every individual muscle in the shoulder so that's why i demonstrated the hand stand push ups..cause they will improve your balance and build every muscle needed to achieve the move
@superchiku aww lol don't say that...you'll get it just don't give up....your body just isn't use to it...the more you practice the more muscle you build to support yourself and it will eventually come easier to you...trust me
yeah on the wall...but when i goto the lawn i try to balance myself besides a tree..it looked very ez but after falling i knw what it truly is... but i really appreciate ur effort here to show us how to do it... i just hope to get it in some months...lets see
@superchiku hmm i'll see if i can break it down a little more in depth to make it easier to achieve....i know it's difficult to get down at first if you're not use to it
hello...i tried to do a handstand...and ended of falling and hitting my back...i have been practising after that and i have fallen 2 times till now..but still iam not able to perfect it.... i do it alone because i cant find a partner to practice...now please tell me approximately how much time does a beginner take to learn this move...i really wanna do it...but iam also afraid of breaking my neck...
@superchiku it's different for everybody the more practice you put in the quicker it will be for you to learn...have you been practicing on the wall like i demonstrated in the video? that helped me a lot, also using your finger tips to stabilize
yeah, that's what i meant.its not that i'm not strong enough,i can move forward and backward but after 5 seconds or less i would lose my balance.if i push back against the wall i could stay up reaaaaaalllyyyy longg.
Haha, I was eating an apple while breakin today, filming a footwork tut, but couldn't be bothered so Im making a teaser trailer while I figure out how to best teach footwork
I need help i allways fall on front -.-
