I was just wondering, are we allowed to make moves on the cube to try out or do we just try to predict without actually executing it while the memorization. (Not real BLD just this type of solve - Speed BLD)
And if you need proof that I'm blindfolded, look at 37 seconds into the video, you see me pull my blindfold down, and then you can see it in the screen, and then I pull it off, and put it back on again around 1:13, again you can see it. Why are you people so MORONIC!!!
it's a fridrich solve, not a regular bld method, this catagory has to do with how fast you can solve a cube after you've memorized the moves of a regular speed cubing method.
In a normal blindfold solve, memorization and execution are both included in the time. In THIS case, the memorization time does NOT count, so he memorized the cube for a LONGER time so that his execution time would be SHORTER. Research before you post and stop leaving negative comments. Bouchard can do what not many people in the world can do; you should be amazed. If you are not, don't comment.
What's with all the negative comments? It's just a rubix cube. But anyways good job, I tried doing it blindoflded once but it took me about 3 min or so. I can solve one (normally) in about 1 and half min. keep up the good work!
Ok wow, another moron...This is Speed Blindfold, not regular blindfold...Read the caption to the video: "I memorised the cube for 37 minutes" you moron...
Yah that's fine, but I mean, i've been getting a lot of comments like that and its just sort of annoying cuz apparently people don't understand the concept of speed Blindfold. Regular Blindfold is awesome too, but speed is just weird...
Hey dude, just so you know I wasn't just memorising and solving it right there...Read the caption. I memorised for 38 minutes, then solved in 18.45 seconds. I can do normal BLD in about 2 and a half minutes...
Cube lube...Not actually lol...I use motomaster silicon Lubricant. I buy it at Canadian Tire. Its like 5 bux a can. Yah this was like my 4th try at it and first success.
wow, well done thats a whole new meaning to 'looking forward' to the next move.

Regular BLD for me is about 2.5-3 minutes, and speed is normally about 16-17 sec average

that was AWESOME! you seemed ALL jezzed that you got it hat fast, haha.
BTW, how do you get a cube to move so fast, mine gets stuck n' s**t

I'm not going to record the whole memorisation process...It'd be long and boring to watch, and a really huge file...
CraigBouchard 5 years ago
I don't think the memorizing time counts at all. How about putting a clock face in the vid?

You guys don't understand the concept of Speed Blindfold. So don't comment.

dude yeah, its 38 min total. memorizing it is lame
badassmexican2 5 years ago
You have to memorize it to solve it! ya dork!
Cheezyq 5 years ago
Why, what is there to gain from that? Its a different style altogether...

lol I'd of lied and said, "I did it on the spot. 10 seconds studying."
Dudefaceguyman 5 years ago
when you examine the cube it counts as trying to solve.. so its like 38 mins for you to solve.

Ummm, no...there is a difference between this and regular blindfold. Learn the difference. And then come back and talk...bye

Despite being poorly framed and poorly lit... this video is NOT fake, totally legit. *sigh* If only I could have been there to take the vid...
The person has indeed blindfolded himself before doing any turns. I wish I could do that. Well maybe someday.
