id be super stoked if i hit a high tq number. thats the number i want more than hp. if i hit 530rwhp with 500rwtq thatll be shweeeet. i doubt it though....that would be possible with a turbo....but twins is for the next TA i buy. prob a m6 tt for my DD and an auto for the track. allout06...i bet those 4:10's make it a real handful. hope you got some decent rubber back there or its useless. i learned how to pin my crank today! thanks to bob.
@kief4diamonds if ya added a meth kit i bet you cold hit ur 500tq numbers.. twin turbos would be sweet if your built for it. i dont wanna mess with oil feeds and heat and the fabrication so i went the easy route lol. the 4.10s are alot of fun. 1st gear is useless, and second is too if its belowe 45*s out. and 3rd spins if its cold. 2nd hooks well when its 60*s and up. and im running NT01 Drag radials in a 315/30/18 in the rear. about due for some new ones though.. how did ya end up pinning it?
@allout06 i assembled the damper to the balancer...placed the jig inside it....used the provided silver bolt down pretty hard...got some cutting oil and 2 hours later plus two tired shoulders it was drilled through. the length procharger recommended was too short. had to put it back on and line it up. got it done took it back off cleaned it put it back on and then tapped it in. put an HD vid up of how it turned out. check it out doooood.

Thanks man. I was hopin to hit 8psi but Ididnt wanna go over so I went with just a little bigger pulley. 8psi and meth on a completely stock ls1 is usually good for 450-470rwhp. all depends on what's already done to the car of course
@allout06 I made 540rwhp/470rwtq in my 02 stock LS1 WS6 automatic unlocked (see my YouTube page for the video) on 10lbs of boost and meth. Was yours an automatic also?
no sir, mine is a 6-speed car with a set of 4.10 gears. so they kill a little power. 540 is great numbers for being stock. but 10psi and meth help alot too lol
thanks alot man!. Im going to add meth also and a 4.00" pulley along with a different intake, probably a FAST. hope to ush the shortblock to its limits next year :). Shooting for 650 rwhp at 9psi or so.
