Yea...sooo a couple years back my internet went down for two solid weeks... after three visits from a tech we finally got it back up... but from then on I embarked on a path to make a Gaming juke box out of my PC that doesn't require disks and loads of games that are in no way internet dependent.... this completely goes against the philosophy of my build.... thanks for listening! Yeah steam sucks, but they use the approach where they give you the carrot instead of the stick. You pay for the game, you get all the latest updates and able to play multiplayer online. Pirating steam games is rather easy, but you lose out with features. Ubisoft just shit down the users throats.
