I loathe what they did to the franchise - Ghost Recon was innovative, engrossing and had awesome tactical gameplay. Every GR game they made after the expansions were generic FPSs. Kinda like what they did to the Rainbow Six franchise.

Though this game was made in 2001, this is still Tom Clancy's best game. It involved skill but was also very fun. The new games are too futuristic and takes all the fun out of the actual playing through levels or playing against a friend.

Apparently, the 'Swift, Silently, Invisible' that is the original Ghosts disappeared when GR2 and GRAW series came out. Don't get me wrong, I love GRAW but I've never given my respect to GRAW than what I have for the original Ghost Recon.
