  • God I love the uniform! Very similar to that of the Russian Naval Infantry.

Incidently, what canadian regiment/branch was it?

  • listen to them march wow we are good

  • and the canadian army has 59,000 active men in the army another 50,000 in reserve and 26,000 civilian soldiers and if ww3 would start and we had time to get ready we could produce at least 3 million soldiers and then our navy and air force to.

  • Canadians=True Brits of America!

  • Canada - The 51st. State.

  • @anniers7 umm no we are independent and we will always be

  • makes me proud tae be a scotsman, the auld atholl highlanders. aye we taught ye well boys, and girls....god bless.

  • Canada knows how to march, ever see Americans march this nice? Nope! That because we use British discipline and Canadian pride.

  • Thats the NAVY

  • Those bagpipes are played at all military parades all over Canada, often at the same "Scotland the Brave" tune.

  • 1 separatist from Quebec does'nt like that.

  • One of the greatest political figures in history said, "

If I had Canadians soldiers, British officers, and American equipment, I could take over the world. -Winston Churchill.

  • @good2goskee Don't think so. More like Napoleon, Irish Officers and British soldiers

  • were not small thats just 1 platoon

  • im not sayign canadian forces are bad or anything but how comes they always hav etime to march around civilian properties when theres only 20,000 of them in the worlds second larges country? lol

  • @JCSWMovies because we are not war mongerors... but when the time comes we will stand for our nation...

  • @JCSWMovies its opening of the provincial legislature so their own hand for the lieutenant governor, our Canadian military is still very ceremonial.

  • Hey look they pulled em out of Afghanistan for a parade!

  • You dont shout acadence during a formal march

  • March Cadence?

  • As an Australian ex military man I consider the Canadian service men to be the best of the best and true friends indeed. March on Canada with your heads held high.

  • @Rossco139 36 580 and dumb ass in war time Canada is a very deadly country

  • Whats the patch on the right shoulder below the Canada flash. When I was in we didn't have that. I t could be years old now but wasn't part of our uniform. Is it just part of uniforms for LFAA or across the Army?

  • @NovaScotiaNewfie i think it might be a representation for their regiment.

  • 0 people better stay 0 people :P

  • Salut boys and girls .. Thanks.

  • God bless Canada !

  • In the UK we have a saying - though the Americans may be friends, the Canadians are family.

  • I wouldnt even consider the Americans friends, more like people we just have to be with. Remember the Canadian soldiers who were killed by friendly fire by the American Forces, sure they thought the LAV was Taliban? How many taliban have Grizzly LAV's?

  • @players555 Shit happens you jackass. Get over it. If you think that we don't need the Americans then you are blind. Do you honestly think that we would still be a sovereign nation with an army of only 33,000? people like you piss me off.

  • @players555 Not trying to gang up on you but, The U.S. have been the best friends anyone can have, they've committed blue on blue on their own people as well. We all need to get over that incident,it was a terrible mistake and that's that. Time to move on.

  • he said halt about turn

  • I noticed some women in the ranks. Is this a combat or support unit? In the US, women do not serve in Infantry, Armor or Artillery.

  • @1stMarDiv75 women are allowed in the Canadian Infantry we lost 3 women in afghanistan(i believe)Captain Nichola Goddard on a combat patrol and Trooper Karine Blais who died by a IED. MCpl. Kristal Giesebrecht who died by a IED..

  • @1988scottcarey 3 women were lost...one was actually a suicide... :( very sad...

  • @1stMarDiv75 Didn't they recently change that in the U.S,

  • Its' true we spend 89 pecent in class and lerning

  • Just REMEMBER NOVEMBER 11...that is ALL THEY ASK...

  • This is one of the best clips of proper Canadian marching on youtube...well done to enitre regiment.

  • The Germans used to fear that sound.

  • quality over quantity boys, thats how we roll : )

  • Cracking Salute Kiddo. God Bless You. regards from India

  • @aldauor Find a recruiter.

  • Canada will always be for the good people...no one can ever take her.

    mad respect for Canadian soldiers.

  • could I nationalize canadian and join the canadian army if i want?

  • @brigad09 You sure can! Anyone who comes to Canada and becomes a Citizen here may join the Armed Forces. You can even become Prime Minister one day!

  • @brigad09 You have to be at least a Permanent Resident, I believe, talk to a Recruiter.

    ~Thanato

  • thanks, friend

  • Respect, from Montreal Qc.

  • nice

  • They should have run inside and overthrown the the legislature building!

    Death to the Tsar!

  • futile...

    march,march,march boys march.

from your trailers parks in winnepeg to your rotten Municipal housing estates in Toronto march boys.

march to the afghan plains and know you can return home a hero in a box draped in a proud flag.

  • "winnepeg"? If you are actually from the UK, I would expect you to know who Winnie the Poo is. If you know who Winnie the Poo is you should know how to spell Winnipeg. I guess the stories I have read about the failing English school system were correct. Don't worry though, you will soon be overrun with the Mosque and Madrasah.... they will give you a education you won't soon forget.

  • YUESEN.i kick you ass for fun make your profile public shit head

  • lol who cares about canadian army small personnel ,badly trained badly equipped ,plus its usa's running dog attachment servant

____________ only the canadian communist party rocks

  • The Canadian army is one of the best trained in the world. Even the Americans admit to that. The reason for this is mostly because they can't get it from fighting in wars so they spend a lot more time in class and on course.

  • Obviously there is no way to "test training" without fighting :D It probably is true that smaller size = better training, keeping all other things the same.

That said, its probably Switzerland or some other small European nation which has the best training.

  • @WNxFish Americans couldn't point to Canada on a map let alone admit to that.

  • @WNxFish right on go canadians!!!!!

  • @WNxFish yeah.. you don't know what you're talking about

  • @WNxFish What you mean cant get it from fighting in wars? Fact check, we have been very active in many different conflicts, especially in the last 20 years as well in our history in general.

  • @WNxFish ahahahahaha....hahahahahahahahahahahahahah.........ahahahahahahahahahaha....you're joking right?

  • lol troll

  • sorry but you don't seem to know what ur talking about P.S.WNxFish is right

  • you really should educate yourself before commenting on anything further. You're making yourself out to look like a moron. The Canadian forces actually are responsible for training other countries including the U.S. in various segments of warfare (ie: Pilots and Policing) because they are the best at them. That means BETTER THAN.

  • this was the 2nd Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment from CFB Gagetown NB and it was a COLD bleedin day out there ... my mate was on this parade an as always our 2RCR men looked great out there...

    'specialy from da REAR ..

  • so many corporals...

  • Its not uncommon. Especially in the Reserve World.

    ~Thanato

  • These aren't Reserves. They are 2nd Bn, The RCR, Gregg Barracks, CFB Gagetown.

  • Whats the song the pipers are playing in the very beginning?

  • Atholl Highlanders

  • two ranks??

  • It looks odd, dosent it. The CO and RSM march on the right, as opposed to centre.

  • March pass in colum (sp?) of route...
