@1stMarDiv75 women are allowed in the Canadian Infantry we lost 3 women in afghanistan(i believe)Captain Nichola Goddard on a combat patrol and Trooper Karine Blais who died by a IED. MCpl. Kristal Giesebrecht who died by a IED..

The Canadian army is one of the best trained in the world. Even the Americans admit to that. The reason for this is mostly because they can't get it from fighting in wars so they spend a lot more time in class and on course.

Obviously there is no way to "test training" without fighting :D It probably is true that smaller size = better training, keeping all other things the same.

That said, its probably Switzerland or some other small European nation which has the best training.
