If you want to protect life - protect the living first. Life is a blessing yes. But it becomes a burden when you have too many children you cannot feed, clothe, educate, give medication and house properly. That is not respect for life. Anyway what makes the Catholic church such an authority on life. Just becuase they are a religious organization? They were killing people during the Inquisition, having priests fathering children.

yes we have to use our reason and to choose what is best for us. Poverty is their primary reason in pursuing this bill, but why is there poverty? is over population the main reason for this poverty? I think not! the main reason is corruption! @connio1000 RH Bill is not only about distributing contraceptives and condoms but educating the public regarding reproductive health that teaches "natural family planning" the church supports. The bill provides services to mothers at risk of childbearing. The freedom of informed choice of birth control methods and rights of the people who can't afford to have more children they can't sustain has been delayed for 11 years..it's about time to pass this bill!!

@LittleMsProdigaLkid What is immoral is having many children & not being able to support them. Look at how many children in the squatters die due to starvation or lack of medical support. The Philippines is the only Asian country that has to import food because we don't have enough space for agriculture. The UN warned that if RP continues this path that in 24 years we'll be like Somalia now. RP is already among the most dangerous countries in the world & no one wants to make business with us.
