u dont need two cards that are the same u show them the card u r using but u have a different card in back of it for a double lift then u bend them together and u place both cards on top of the deck u take the card that was behind the one u showed them and put it in the middle and make sure that they dont look at it ...then u release ur fingers and it looks like it jumped...it is better to do it this way cuz sometimes ppl ask me to c the deck to make sure there arent any duplicates

If you were actually any good, you would know you dont need 2 decks. you simply need to double lift. and select the 2nd card in the deck. and it is also possible to shuffle a card to the 2nd from top position in the deck. anyone that wishes to see this, subscribe to my channel, and i will have it uploaded within the next 3 days. much better way, and then you can give the deck to the audience to examine

You can do this without duplicates!!

Just do a double lift at the start, fold BOTH card you lifted, then put only the top one in the middle. They think youve put the top card in the middle cos of the double lift, then let it unfold and reveal it.

you can do a double lift with their card as the second card down so that when you do the double lift, you show them their card. then bend the two cards and put them on top. keep a hold of their card (the second one) on the top of the deck as flat as you can. then take the bent card (the top one) and stick it in the middle. hold the deck tightly and let their card unbend on the top. (if this doesn't make sense, look up "ambitious card routine tutorial" on youtube.)

What perfectdonk said. You need to work on your performance a little more. Get smooth with your sleights. That's part of the ambitious card routine. That's such a powerful effect, but the performance was not smooth and very bad for it. It made it lose it's effect. Watch some major magicians versions of it and how they perform it and mimic them a little more.

yeah you shouldnt have 2 the same cards in am acr. when putting it into the middle you should create the illusion of it going into the middle by putting it in the 2nd from the top of the deck, angling the deck upwards slightly and bendin the cards slighty too

Why don't you just use another duplicate and show the card being placed into the middle again? Or better yet, don't show the face of any card, triple lift the first one, and then double lift the second. It's much more impressive if you can let a spectator examine your deck and see that there are no duplicates. if they find the other bent card (doubtful as you can hold the deck tightly to help flatten it) just say "do you think this is the first time i've done this trick?" I like it though.

You don't need a duplicate, just do a double lift at the beginning (the second card being the 'top' card) and then u take the actual top card to the middle of the deck... and the second card will now be the top card.
