Why were there pools of molten steel then? Even if thermite was used, it wouldn't be pools of molten steel for weeks! It's impossible.

This caused the glowing steel members pulled out of Ground Zero. Watch video's of the cleanup work, even when glowing hot the steel is still solid, not melted. The temperatures inside the towers wasn't hot enough to melt steel. It was hot enough to loose strength and stiffness, but not to melt.
