  • how do those guys play that low D very loud? i have a F attachment and can never play that loud. or maybe it the bore or bell size?

  • no, its to do with mouthpiece. The bore and bell size doesnt stop you from playing very loud low D's. Small m.p. requires more work to play low and usually are not as strong when compared to larger m.p's. but using large m.p. requires strong chops otherwise your sound will be weak

  • Very very sweet basses! This is my favorite part of the piece.

  • Cool Kostas, Always nice to see a former student playing good. Nice piece for bass trombone and tuba and you guys do pretty well.
