omg! im allergic to aspirin too!! i didnt know that salicylic acid was a form of aspirin, and once, i used an 8% salicylic acid spot treatment from neutrogena (the orange box one), my face went crazy! took 2 months and lots of medication to clear up. my face started having hives that turned into hard lumps, then dry off, and start peeling, was horrific!
I love these videos, because y'all are always like,'why did I even buy this thing' knowing full well that it wouldn't work for you. We all do it. Convincing ourselves that we just really need something that is ultimately completely useless for us. lol.
Finally, I thought I was the only one with this problem, since everyone else seems to love it. But I do have a similar kind of skin colour to yours. Pretty light and warm. Maybe it's just not for that type of skine tone.
Never ever EVER get the Revlon Color Stay Aqua, It wasn't really that shiney inside but once I walked outside I looked my face got attacked by sparkles :/

I LOVE that stila lip glaze! I love how it stays on long, and how clear the pigmentation is allowing you to conserve (yes it's very pricy). Apricot gives me the perfect nude lip which i'm incredibly OCD about having. It does feel like glue, ill give you that. Sucks cause when the wind blows, my long hair and lips mate.
when you blended that hoodwinked one it looked liked it was cakey or creasey or something but i like the color of that orange but it would make me look like i just threw up.
If you never use your MAC fluidline and the woodwinked and beauty marked, would you be willing to send it to me? I have no MAC things and being a student makes it hard to have enough money for MAC items :(

I love revlon color stay foundation too and actually have the concealer and you are right wearing the concealer alone, dose look cakey but for me I use it for my under eye erea b4 I apply my foundation and it works for me so maybe you can try that and it wont be such a waist of money for you.....ooooh! well your alergic, but if anyone else is watching that can use it and has it maybe this will work for you :)

Hi, Im not sure if you know but beauty marked by mac has a drugstore dupe it is in the Wet and Wild Color Icon palette in Lust that is 4.99 at Walgreens. All four of the palette Greed, Lust, Pride, and Vanity have MAC dupes and are extremly pigmented more then MAC. Greed has 5 dupes, Pride has 5 dupes, Lust has 5 dupes and Vanity has 6 dupes hope you check those out...hope that helped.!

The more orange based the lipstick the more yellow your teeth will look, the more blue based the whiter. That being said I tend to not be able to pull off overly blue based shades because of my warm skin tone. Some of my favorites that don't seem to make them look any worse than normal are Jubilee and Angel. Jubilee is a natural shade that I wear with warm eye makeup, Angel is a pinkish shade that I usually wear with cooler or sometimes smokey eyes.
I regret buying anything by CoverGirl, Maybelline and AVON. I don't mean to sound critical of anyone who's had luck with those brands--However, they make my skin break out and having no lasting power.

I regret buying a Hello Kitty Lucky Tom Palette. The colors are so washed out. The clerk at the MAC store only tried the purple on me, which was probably the only good color in that palatte, and I bought it because that one color looked so nice.

Woodwinked, Beauty Marked, Juxt, and Star Violet are my favourite MAC shadows. I find the subtle glitter in the Beauty Marked is picked up by the Star Violet. It's true one woman's trash is another's treasure =)
I regret my slimshines too. I like my lipsticks and glosses seperate. I also regret the bronzy gold lipglass that I bought "to go with my summer tan" that instead made my teeth look lemony yellow. Why couldn't the sales lady tell me that in advance?
honestly woodwinked is an amazing color but for darker skin... the darker you are the better it looks ... i'm an NW45/50 and it's one of my favorite colors. It ends up being a really dark goldish color on me. woodwinked and stetch were my first 2 mac shadows.
Oh DUH!!!!!! I meant Trax, not Mystery from MAC. Trax looks like this great purple with a bit of gold, and it also comes out horrible whenever I wear it!!

Agreeance on the lip shines - overrated. I think a drugstore brand would work just as well. That said, I love Up the Amp with a neutral eye. So sophisticated, but I only wear it on the rare occasion I am in the mood for a bold lip look.
YES, the Stila Lip Glaze is AWFUL. Incredibly sticky. I bought a lime one here in AU. After 2nd time using it, I had to bin it. I could not use it, just hated it so much. Total waste of money. The BEST lip product to buy is PALMER'S Dark Chocolate & Peppermint LIP BUTTER. Natural ingredients such as Pretrolatum, Theobroma Cacao (cacao), seed butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Mentha Piperita, Peppermint & Flavour. No sticky feel and I am not scared about licking my lips with this on. RRP ca. AUD 3!

I am continually amazed at how your skin color and sensitivity is identical to mine. I heard great things about woodwinked too and I agree it was orange not what I thought! I have found blushes that turn orange on me.. i bought 12 from everyday minerals and they all look pretty for 2 seconds and then go orange! I only wear Bare Minerals blushes anymore because of my face being overly acne prone. I'm still building my collection of those, but my fav's so far are Hint, Riches and Secret. As far as lipsticks I love Freckletone and Jubilee which are great for warm makeup, and if it's a bit cooler Angel. Blankety is also nice but the formula is thicker and not as good feeling on the lips as Jubilee.
Try the stila lip glaze sticks. Theyre SUPER awesome. They're very shiny, and you can't feel them on your lips at all. These are my favorite of all time, they also have great pigment and moisturize.
I do love the van pigment and the woodwick i think is a pretty color on but everyones skin tone is different so I can see why you may not like but I so do .. love the vid thank you
The Revlon concealer used to be normal and without the acne medicine... It was alot better back then. The undereye concealer isn't that great either. I'm an MUA, and I've seen plenty of MAC that's not that good...

How come I never have that problem?? It might be because I'm as pasty white as I get. I do however like the elf hypershine lipglosses for $1. I feel like you with them. If a gloss stays on for longer than a few hours I feel trapped by it. That's why I like the elf ones. =)
While I love the Urban Decay line, I bought this shadow that is a sandy brown, almost like Satin Taupe, but it has a green duo-chrome. Yuck! It looks like I have a black eye and it has started to heal. You know how bruises go from dark purple, to brownish, to yellow? Yep...that's what that eyeshadow looks like on me. WHAT was I thinking?

what you could with those lipstickts if you want to actually get use of them is apply small amounts of just apply to the true color & then layer it with nudes or anything so its like not as mad. hope this helps!

I buy 75% of my make up from wal-mart. The return policy on makeup is pretty much no questions asked. They always let me return it for a full refund if it doesn't work out. Open package, half gone it doesn't matter. If ur unsure about ur local wal-mart, check with customer service about their make up return policies.

i agree with you i dont like the mac slimsticks .
hehehe orange lipstick and purple i have the creme the la femme it is pink but with purple undertones that one i like as the purple it does not show a lot at least on my lips. The woodwinked eyeshadow to me it looks alright maybe dependes on the skin color on me is like a old gold color. Beauty market i dont like it as well my friend has it but i think you dont get the color that is on the pot . anyway great video thanks for sharing

Woodwinked, Beauty Marked, Juxt, and Star Violet are my favourite MAC shadows. I find the subtle glitter in the Beauty Marked is picked up by the Star Violet. It's true one woman's trash is another's treasure =)
I regret my slimshines too. I like my lipsticks and glosses seperate. I also regret the bronzy gold lipglass that I bought "to go with my summer tan" that instead made my teeth look lemony yellow. Why couldn't the sales lady tell me that in advance?

Anna Sui black eyeliner: the one without glitters! Not waterproof & not smudgeproof!

honestly woodwinked is an amazing color but for darker skin... the darker you are the better it looks ... i'm an NW45/50 and it's one of my favorite colors. It ends up being a really dark goldish color on me. woodwinked and stetch were my first 2 mac shadows.

I regret almost every lipgloss and maybe 75% of lipsticks I have lol... I can't kiss my boyfriend with that shit on (and we're not like distant or anything, we always kiss so I always end up having to wipe it off), I have to worry about my hair getting stuck in it, chunks on my lips, idk I just really dislike a lot of lip products... I adore lip balms and a few lipsticks... why do I buy lipgloss... I don't know lol, just like you said... what possessed me to think I'd like it... haha.

Agreeance on the lip shines - overrated. I think a drugstore brand would work just as well. That said, I love Up the Amp with a neutral eye. So sophisticated, but I only wear it on the rare occasion I am in the mood for a bold lip look.

YES, the Stila Lip Glaze is AWFUL. Incredibly sticky. I bought a lime one here in AU. After 2nd time using it, I had to bin it. I could not use it, just hated it so much. Total waste of money. The BEST lip product to buy is PALMER'S Dark Chocolate & Peppermint LIP BUTTER. Natural ingredients such as Pretrolatum, Theobroma Cacao (cacao), seed butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Mentha Piperita, Peppermint & Flavour. No sticky feel and I am not scared about licking my lips with this on. RRP ca. AUD 3!

i felt woodwinked ripped me off! =] it looks orange on me too! i try to make it work all the time...hasn't worked yet. i bought it because i saw a utuber use it and she has very dark brown skin, it looked gorgeous on her! jealous =]

I am continually amazed at how your skin color and sensitivity is identical to mine. I heard great things about woodwinked too and I agree it was orange not what I thought! I have found blushes that turn orange on me.. i bought 12 from everyday minerals and they all look pretty for 2 seconds and then go orange! I have the worst luck buying blushes and lipstick. do you have a favorite of those? thanks for saving me from buying panned vanilla! Nicole

I only wear Bare Minerals blushes anymore because of my face being overly acne prone. I'm still building my collection of those, but my fav's so far are Hint, Riches and Secret. As far as lipsticks I love Freckletone and Jubilee which are great for warm makeup, and if it's a bit cooler Angel. Blankety is also nice but the formula is thicker and not as good feeling on the lips as Jubilee.

Try the stila lip glaze sticks. Theyre SUPER awesome. They're very shiny, and you can't feel them on your lips at all. These are my favorite of all time, they also have great pigment and moisturize.

The Revlon concealer used to be normal and without the acne medicine... It was alot better back then. The undereye concealer isn't that great either. I'm an MUA, and I've seen plenty of MAC that's not that good...

I usually always stick to warm colors too..but I JUST purchased one of the holiday eye shadow palettes in the cool tones (I used my gift card finally ! Woo hoo) I am really surprised how much i like it!! PS. I SO want that purple lipstick..lol!

How come I never have that problem?? It might be because I'm as pasty white as I get. I do however like the elf hypershine lipglosses for $1. I feel like you with them. If a gloss stays on for longer than a few hours I feel trapped by it. That's why I like the elf ones. =)

While I love the Urban Decay line, I bought this shadow that is a sandy brown, almost like Satin Taupe, but it has a green duo-chrome. Yuck! It looks like I have a black eye and it has started to heal. You know how bruises go from dark purple, to brownish, to yellow? Yep...that's what that eyeshadow looks like on me. WHAT was I thinking?

lol wow u got alot of regrets there ! my one regret is my givenchy matte primer that cost like 30 bucks. it did nuttin for me an made my face alot more oily ! i jus didnt wanna hassel to send it back to sephora. other than that i dnt have much regrets even tho i have stuff i dnt like i try diff thngs to somehow make it work to use it up so its not a complete waste of money.

what you could with those lipstickts if you want to actually get use of them is apply small amounts of just apply to the true color & then layer it with nudes or anything so its like not as mad. hope this helps!

I buy 75% of my make up from wal-mart. The return policy on makeup is pretty much no questions asked. They always let me return it for a full refund if it doesn't work out. Open package, half gone it doesn't matter. If ur unsure about ur local wal-mart, check with customer service about their make up return policies.
