  • Aw.... Your horse luuuuvs you! It's adorable!

  • Had a vet administer a shoot in the neck, now the neck is swelling. What should I do for the swelling.?

  • @kegancolbert when u give a shot at an angle (45 degrees) its a sub-q injection that is only in the subcutaneous tissue which is were you give insulin for diabetes but a vaccine is inserted in the muscle and is put straight in at a 90 degree angle in order to get pass the subcutaneous tissue because the vaccine will irritate it but won't hurt the muscle, its the same for dogs, horses, and humans

  • @jlo510linda you can't judge a horse or a owner just based on what you see in a minute long video.

  • useless

  • i need to give my horse a shot of penicilian, what do i do!!!!!!!!!!! help!!!!

  • we used to do that to my horse you like not hit but firmly tap the neck area and randomly inject it in the neck

  • So you just punch the skin and inject it at an angle? Beneath the skin?

  • no you don't punch it in or stab it you gently insert it if they stabbed it the horse would freak. and yes at a angle.

  • is the Strangles vaccination a intermuscular shot?

  • as far as i have seen, strangles is administered via nasal passage, kind of like distemper for dogs

  • I have given my horse inter muscular shots for strangles. I don't know where you live, but here you can get them at any farm supply store.
