i saw them on this tour in Pontiac, Michigan and The Clash were greeted with boos and cat calls that lasted through the entire set. Pete Townsend stopped The Who show several times to tell the crowd how stupid they were. the crowd, however, liked Eddie Money who was also on the bill. very strange indeed.

sorry, i had not read Lollichica07 's comments. it was a weird show but it was normal at that time for "rock" guys to not like "punk rock". even though the clash weren't very punk.
