  • When gold and silver hit these "benchmarks" what are you going to convert it to? Real estate? Back to paper? Other goods that hold value?

  • @BElliottP Real Estate, businesses and dividend paying Blue Chip stocks that have been beaten down badly.

  • China's recent decisions to purchase gold physical over the last year, at least, is a warning sign to us all. Then the russian/china bilateral trades no longer using the dollar is even more of a foreshadowing of what is to come.

What I see is that China is building up their reserves so when this dollar decoupling takes place, it wont hurt as much. But obviously, for the US, this would be a disatrous event. Just a matter of when, at this point.

  • Always a great viewing and thinking experience.

  • Karl, congrats on the good timing for that monster box.....I hope we get to see the unwrapping of it!!

  • @Johnnyrockva as long as it's a cardboard box around the monster box that is to unwrapped. One should keep the plastic straps sealed on their monster boxes. Why you may ask? Someone may as for 600 ounces for a house. You say, no, 500.. because I have a monster box that has been sealed at the mint.

  • great vid Carl .. you're da man !!!!

  • how much did you have to pay for the monster? 17k? We have to end the political lobbying and bribes

  • how much did you have to pay for the monster? 17k?

  • The jobs China took away from this country are not coming back. The Chinese won't give them up easily. They have millions of workers willing to work for slave wages and they now have the manufacturing technology courtesy of the United States to do it. So kiss any hopes of manufacturing coming back this decade. And you know politicians will run away from the opportunity to apply tariffs and abolish trade agreements with Asia. So you have two choices people. To fight or sit on your arse.

  • Hi Karl, are you using any other parametres like housing cost per oz in determining when to start selling your pms, if so could you tell me what they are, thanks.

  • The Permanent Portfolio was Harry Browne's idea. How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World is a great read. More of a self help book than a financial book.

  • ugh....now i want to buy more but i can't spend my last few Gs. I don't know what t odo...I mean I can spend it but if i do and silver really fails or doesn't take off doesn't happen for a couple of years or so...then i can't move out.

  • What i should have done in the beginning...was buy something like a box (i couldn't afford a monster box). I'm getting sick of all the shipping charges...but I also realize apmex isn't the cheapest place. I realize i can go here or there and get it shipping free.

  • @JustABitchyCancer My opinion: #1 you should have an emergency fund of cash you need for everyday expenses for 6 months minimum. If you don't have that yet then just wait on the silver. Don't worry about it. Good luck.

  • Think our criminal politicians would notice if a few of the colleagues started coming up missing. Couple reps one day couple senators the next day???? they would have the whole military there to save their worthless asses!!!

  • How will we sell our silver to buy a home, who would we sell it to?

  • @MahoDoctor

the same people you bought it from

  • I wish I could buy a monster box! I have about 700 ounces of silver and a small amount of gold. But if silver goes to 300/oz i'll have a bit of cash then!

  • Germany is printing Deutschmarks now and will stop using the Euro. We will witness the collapse of the euro soon.

  • @SlvrStkr2 Are they really? Got any sources? thanks!

  • @ExquisiteDoom Max Keiser reported the Deutsch Mark printing. They are WAITING, not immediately deploying.

  • "Because this country is broken. China has basically broke us." 9:15

I agree with most of what you're saying. But I would say WE broke us. China just lent us a willing hand in the self destruction.

  • The new age of kids only skills are to use their ipods and watch American idol. We are toast.

  • Karl, what is the chance that silver is manipulated eternally?...what if ' they' never allow silver to appreciate in value? Is that a possibility?

  • @agrassel49 then silver consumption rates will be too high & in short order no silver will be left on Earth except in land-fills or perhaps then routed directly for recycling from obsolete machinery.

  • If the market crashes, it will take silver and gold with it. For the long term, it will hold it's value. I'm also keeping watch of digital money to see how that plays along.

  • There are some cool GPS treasure hunts. Check online if there is anything in your area. Fun. Have a good time Upstate. Peace man.

  • Thanks Karl. And good morning to everyone. The U.S. doesn’t need a manufacturing base or to produce anything. The U.S.A.s business model is based on corruption, greed and wealth centralization.

  • @workwillfreeyou I agree. Looking at what happened to Argentina, they tried to apply the same principles, so it looks like the USA will follow them on a larger scale. Ugh.

  • Great comments about the protesters. 75% of them are idiots/followers... they don't know what/who the root cause of the problem is... the Federal Reserve system and fractional banking.

  • Great video as always!

  • 30-40 years of lies ;)

  • @GuildF40 100+ years of lies! :-)

  • @Buddy3315 Dow:Gold 2:1 start scaling out.

  • Are you saying gold will reach a price 2 times the dow or 1/2 the dow.?

  • @KonaChuck22 I'm sorry about that. Dow:Gold ration of 2:1 and 1:1 is our exit signal. Thanks

  • been saying this for years - an economy has to be either resource or manufacturing based, you either dig stuff out of the ground or make stuff

  • swiss franc? your jseting Karl, they repegging again to euro. SNB killed it. Who knows , maybe 2-3 weeks, game over >>>watch?v=hsXg_kn-vYY

  • @stealinator Yes I know that. So the permanent portfolio's theory of Swiss Franc's (cash position) is not what it was intended any longer. I would replace the Swiss Franc with the Australian Dollar. It's is closely pegged to the Gold also and if the US Dollar collapses the Aussie Dollar will probably hold up better. Good luck.

  • Great Video!

  • I'm glad those peope are out there protesting. I just hope they realize that the problem is the crooked money system. Are they calling for an audit of the Fed? Return to a precious metals standard? Anyway, hopefully they'll catch on.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty What do you mean. No matter what, they can only do some good

  • @ANTIDALLARD That's true. Anything is better then nothing..

  • when silver makes it REAL move, that means that we will be the haves and everyone around us will be the have-nots. I feel these starbucks drinking armchair marxists will blame US for actually being ready.

  • The Chinese rulers would have a lot of problems too if they would forbid the chinese manufacturers to sell to american consumers overnight. Just like the american rulers would get into a lot of problems if they forbade the american tax subjects to buy chinese consumer goods.

Super high unemployment in china would give their rulers a lot of headaches and unrest. I doubt it if they can 'overnight' construct a internal market. Ideas of large populations, don't change 'overnight'

  • I grabbed 500oz of 10oz NTR bars, but I didn't get the bottom. I got it @ 30.72. It worked out to like 31.95 an ounce. Not the greatest deal, but it was just what I could grab while I was in the States and I had the cash on hond. Still a score for me.

I'm still holding a lot more cash than I'd like to, but as long as people are flocking to bonds and treasurys (yes, it's spelled right) and holding cash themselves, I'm good on that.

  • gratzz

  • These demonstrators seem to have an awful amount of agenda21 arguments. If they sit around with their Starbucks and Iphones, maybe they are just hired protesters.

  • I loaded up on AGQ at $98 and sold Oct $100 covered calls for 23... Nice call Karl

  • Hey, should we sell our 401k and Buy silver?

  • @SilverMapleLeafs Diversify is the key to survival....

  • @SilverMapleLeafs There are bills being drafted right now to prevent people from borrowing against their 401k's and IRAs. Uncle Sam is broke and needs this money... eventually, they're bound to get it. When the financial system collapses, all these accounts will probably be frozen, or confiscated entirely. You decide.

  • If you look at the JP Morgan stock it is very close to silver value..... what do you think about that??

  • @blueboxers8 I do not like JP Morgan's stock.. Sorry. Any financials I would stay away from. If you want to bet on a recovery buy some Basic Material stocks or the Basic Material ETF IYM

  • do u guys think that silver is going down again?

  • @MyGigglesTV Not really. The charts look very bottomed now and you see the clear turn higher from the most oversold in 3 years... To me I think we saw the low.

  • most of the people doing the wall street protest are undercover commies.

  • @DontMeanWell Gay rights, abortion, welfare, communism, etc are demo-rep distractions to keep people's eyes off of the Fed. We all must watch the Fed and demand its dismemberment.

  • carl look @ the volume for Sprott's PSLV ... wow...3x

  • China is gonna make the U.S their bitch unless you got a monster box.

  • Dude I'm with you on the PM advice you are putting out and appreciate it and maybe some of the protestors are there for the same reason they stood in long lines to buy a iPad 2 but hey give em some credit for the effort and they are hitting the news and the Protests are spreading!

  • @valhala56 IMHO, there won't be a stock market to exit strategy to in the future. We will be a physical a bartering society after the collapse. PMs of course will play their part.

  • @jimbobubbadj I concur completely Jimbo. Time Frame? that's up in the air but like a bullet speeding forward History has a trajectory and like the bullet it cannot be made to change direction in mid flight.

  • @valhala56 That's a tough one. IMHO it will be a fast collapse because it was in the '30s. My guess is by 2012. There is nothing left to help lift us out this time. Oil is scarce now vs plentiful in the '30s. Manufacturing base not here now as it was in the 30's. Also due to the debt problem, manufacturing countries and resource countries will not accept printed out of thin air "money" for their real products once the dollar collapses.

  • @jimbobubbadj Do I have a long lost Twin Brother I don't know about? Jimbo it's like you are reading my mind. I concur completely. This movie, Collapse. Soverign Debt Crisis, the wars in Middle East and now Occupy Wall Street is accelerating the pace of this movie. The Biggest story in Human History, IMHO even bigger then WW2 and the Cold War is unfolding in front of my eyes and the only good thing I can think of about it is I am witnessing History being made.

  • I bought 800 extra ozs , but it cost me more because the Canadian dollar went down too ...but no regrets whatsoever ...now I am just waiting for it to shoot to pluto ...

  • swiss just pegged to the Euro

  • @slampiece99

They've been pegged for a while.

  • @slampiece99 Yes I know. I guess you can replace the Swiss Franc with Aussie Dollars until they unpeg.

  • amen on the violence in protests
