I had an issue like this once ended up getting pulled out by a jeep cherokee because it seemed to pull better in mud but had to really fucking jerk it with 6 feet to gain speed

F250s are bad for that if you don't have the right tires, even if you have 4wd. They weigh too much and sink easily in mud.
