Why compare? Totally different genres. For me Iron Maiden are my absolute favourite bands, but in flames are as well one of my favourite acts. Their latest album really took them higher than they've ever been.

Anyways, In Flames would never even be without Iron Maiden. =) Bot are great bands, end of story.

@SwedishDelighter I think both bands are great, but you can't possibly compare Anders with Bruce. Bruce couldnt growl like Anders because that's not the way he sings, but Anders would not come any way near to Bruce dickinsons vocal range. He goes from deep G to high B5 live and not many singers can do that. I know this is 1 year late answer but whatever...

Iron Maiden sucks, they have been making music for 30 years and haven't even succeeded to make a good song. Perhaps decent, but that's it. In Flames on the other hand has made 100 good songs.

Maiden is legend In flames is a good band but not close to the class and entertaiment iron maiden have. I was at the consert and it was a big diffrence between the bands. But i like Anders as a singer he is a very nice person.
