This boat runs fly by wire controls (no throttle cables) When driving fast in lumpy seas it is common to be on and off the throttles. The boat is launching from wave to wave, if you just leave the throttles full, the engines will over-rev when the props come out of the water. On and off the throttle also helps adjust the angle of the bow of the boat. Generally its full throttle to launch the bow onto the next wave.
