  • I am a teen too. Well, actually I was a teen about half a century ago.

Happy to say I survived teenhood.

Mine was the "coolest generation". We were the first to dance to

    rock and roll.

Now many of us sorta shuffle along w/ our walker. Anyhoo, great

comedy is timeless. Tnx 4 the fun post.

  • Carl Reiner never misses.

  • Hey this is my first time watching these shows since yesterday, I'm a teen too, just finished watching George Carlin's shows, he was really funny "and in the bullshit department haha " anyways, just trying to find out if someone can explain to me Tom Con. elephant joke? I never really understood it. thanks

  • Whistling Nazis...hilarious...makes them look as dumb as they were.

  • I'm 16 and I love this show. the humor transcends time. my friends don't get me. hahaha.

  • This was television at it's best. When writing didn't have to rely on sex gags and innuendo. Something like this would never make it today because it's pure comedy and not sophomoric sex gags...

  • I love it when Harvey can't stop laughing when he gets the bomb out!

  • Now I can't stop whistling Pop Goes the Weasel!

  • "Right... ......TICKLE!!!!!!!!!!"

  • I'm a teen too, I love this show! TV Land is one of my favorite channels because of 'I Love Lucy'.

  • @TheBritishTexan i love i love lucy too, but they play it too much. along with mash. they could take a few episodes off a day, still have 2 of each, and put reruns of this back on. i'm also a teen.

  • @leftiesrox I LOVE M.A.S.H i could watch it all day everyday for the rest of my life. my mom never understood why i loved it so much when i was 7 laughing at jokes my 13 year old sister didn't get. to be honest i would watch more T.V if more shows like M.A.S.H were on, i find modern humour extremely boring i think they rely on stupid humour too much anyone ever see Napolion Dynamite the stupidest movie i have ever seen yet it was a hit? i don't understand it. lol

  • @booboobitxch666 oh, i totally love mash, i'm not dissing it at all. i just wish they could put like this and flip wilson and sonny and cher on. and i'm pissed they took off happy days and the brady bunch. it's just, why do they have to show it over and over again. it's like 7 episodes of each everyday. they can show the whole series in a month on that station. and then they play the series over and over and over again. i wish they'd put other stuff on once in a while.

  • @leftiesrox i agree i love, I dream of Jeannie, and Bewitched, i love lucy all that old stuff and i see where your coming from i just have never really been able to get tired of M.A.S.H no matter how many times i watch the same episode lol

  • @booboobitxch666 very very very true. i just wish they'd have some variety.

  • "You're a nazi, stop laughing."

  • "no, no, no hickey's are too violent"

    i love this show

  • Sorry, I left out the 's.

  • He is Carl Reiner, he Rob Reiner's dad.

  • LOL " you have mother's eye."

  • i'm also in my teens and I find this show extremely fuuuny! my prez say it's lucky to be able to still like shows like this, none of my friends seem to like these or I love lucy or anything really. I find them comical in their own way, kind of like what you have to do with the british humor in Monty Python's quest for the holy grail. :) I mean :P

  • I think it's just the generations aren't growing up with real comedy anymore. All we get is poop jokes and dirty humor. Things like " The Carol Burnett Show " and "I Love Lucy" were all clean humor. They were funny because they were funny. Not because they were a cheap laugh.

I am 17 and I feel the world has lost touch with their humor bone. I think it's time for someone to go back and and start making clean humor again.

  • @OriginalAlphathewolf i agree with you to the fullest extent i never really understod why i loved this humour so much but when i look at it from your point of view i really see and understand why i love it so much b/c my mind is just as dirty as any other teen but i really like clean good fun like the Carol Burnett show lol dirty humour she be kept behind closed doors with friends not on tv and all that keeping the dirty secret is half the fun of dirty jokes.

  • @Looneytunegal226 i love this stuff i too am in my teens there is really nothing wrong with likeing this kind of humour none of my friends like it either, my mom says it's b/c i was born a generation late lol, i love older humour like this i have alot of carol burnett skits on vhs lol but i haven't been able to convert them onto dvd makes me so sad lol.

  • @booboobitxch666 Oh yes, I totally know what you mean bout the VHS -> DVD thing, and I'v checked online for classics such as these, but all of the prices are in the high 70s or even like 100! Personally, I don't have the money for that XD

We may be born a generation late, but we are way more awesome! ;)

  • @Looneytunegal226 i know it sux and ya totally we are awesome

  • Omg( oh my gosh if you didn't know lol) your comment made me laugh harder than the actual clip. I don't know if youre really 92 but even so I wish you all the best or they worst I don't know you seemed angry about living at the end. Oh well best wishes in what ever^-^

  • I'm 39...it was just a joke....to be honest with all of you...I really don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that...but I am happy you laughed at it . ^.^

  • To be honest...when I checked my e-mail I was really confused when it said "Plot to kill Hitler" I'm much better now.FaithHope...that is nice names. I like the T.V. show too,Kelly Ripa is so funny, and I used to have a crush on Faith Ford when she was on Murphy Brown.

  • I'm 14 years old and I absolutely LOVE this show!

  • I am 49 years old and this is still my all time favorite show. Pure Hooty!!

  • You know, I was a little hesitant at first. this didn't seem like it would be a good sketch. I should have learned to put my faith in carol and the crew. They are comedic genius and this was no exception.

  • Hahaha, I LOVE it!

Along with the regular cast, Carl Reiner was amazing as Harvey's brother!

  • CARL, of course, i was trying to remember his name and no luck. he used to show up on dick van dyke also didn't he????

  • Yes! He created TDVDS and wrote many, many of the episodes. Also, he appeared as the comedian Alan Brady (who Rob works for).

  • "...Right, TICKLE!"

  • oh no, hickeys are too violent! hehe! i didn't know that hickeys are violent! :D hehe

  • HAHAHA. That was great!!! Typically, Harvey (may he rest in peace) couldn't keep it together during the funniest parts, making them even funnier!!!! Both him and Carol are absolutely hilarious! <3<3<3 Thanks so much for posting!

  • I've always loved this skit because it's obvious everyone was cracking up and having a good time- but instead of doing another take they just said to heck with it and left it as is. SNL is at its funniest when similar things happen during their live shows.

  • You have mother's eye, awesome.

Harvey was almost corpsing it when he did "woohoo thing", haha.

I owe you many drinks, thanks so much.
